Kayo Premium Subscription $10/Month for 6 Months (New Kayo Customers Only) @ Kayo

2670

Great deal here. Unfortunately, it's only available to new customers; see the steps below.

Note: Kayo Premium is the 4K option with up to 2 screens.

If you're a previous customer, basically, what defines a new customer is the phone number and email. Easy fix is the email; you can use iCloud Hide My Email (generates a new email and forwards it to you), note that the Gmail + trick doesn't work.

For the phone number, the easiest (and cheapest) is the Optus 7-Day Free Trial eSim, it generates a new number, requires no payment details and is ready to use in minutes.

So (profanity) Kayo and their $40 per month fees, this is cheaper and a much better deal!

Enjoy!

I used new email, new number, new name but when I entered my credit card details it changed my details to match that on my card and my previous account.

    • Did you still get the $10 deal?

      • +1

        yes

        • +2

Glad to hear it still worked. :)

@HamBoi69 Do you know if you lose the discount by changing the mobile number after signing up? I had to use the optus esim as mine and wifies mobiles are both used previously and I can't be bothered getting a new wife at short notice.

    • +1

LOL! Sorry, can't help there as I haven't tried before. I'd imagine it should be fine, but they could check it later, or the system may not like it even if you try to.

  • Do you need a new mobile number?
I will use my revolt card in case they make it hard to cancel.

    • If you've had a Kayo sub before, then yes.

    • yeah it wouldn't let me sign up with my current mobile (linked to my current sub) and a "new email", in fact it burnt the email address I used so I had to use another variant of my email with the optus number.

The only problem is after that optus number expires and you lose the number, if Optus re-issues it then someone else could logon to your account as there's no 2fac, you can logon using the mobile number and an SMS code they send to that number.

        This

I tried creating a new account with a number less than 30 days old only to find one already existed, and Hank's right, they sent me a code and I was logged straight in, I might be a bit more tolerant of 2FA moving forward..

    Yes.. (Profanity) Kayo!

Is the mob number needed for any type of MFA though? That won't help if using the 7 day optus sim if it is needed

    • You can choose to have 2FA emailed so Mobile is only important for initial code upon sign-up. I have a couple of accounts with very old dead numbers.

  • I just did it for my parents and saw when cancelling their service that Kayo was offering them the same - so it seems they're targeting some existing customers too :)

  • I just cancelled my service and they offered me $5/month for 2 months….. guess my son is about to sign up

  • Can’t get this working. Anyone managed to get it and willing to share, I am happy to go halves for 6mths - $30. Please DM, thanks!

  • Then $30 thereafter, kayo is a rip. Cancelling my sub at end of year. On $15 month atm

  • So this won't work if you've only had a trial before?

    • Needs a new number & email address, so no.

  • So, I had this hubbl/kayo account until some 2-3 years back.
Gave this offer a trial and it worked. No need to change email or phone. Simply worked as returning customer.

    • 2 Years ago I don't think Hubbl had Kayo, I think they only got it around January or February last year. (I could be wrong) Maybe they only check if you had a Hubbl - Kayo account previously, and not just a Kayo account when they were standalone?

Careful with these green slugs. And if you try to cancel your subscription, make sure you get a confirmation email of it actually happening and don't rely on the site saying you've done so.

  • I nearly accepted their “please stay” offer when I went to cancel, but it’s not $10 a month - it’s $10 off per month. Thankfully the mandatory fine print says minimum cost $20.

Just something to be careful of for those cancelling to use this deal…

  • Only showing $1 deal now, anyone still seeing the $10 month deal?

    • +1

still showing $10 per month for me… kXqVyBt2V3 this is the code being used if that helps..

Sweet, thanks mate. Might be picking up my device. Not that this is worth more than $2 but FTA is rubbish for the footy

  • Used the link but got stuck at Hubbl page. How do we create a new account or ok to use the old Hubbl account?

    • Perhaps try a different browser. Hubbl would need to be new as that in effect is your Kayo Account and payment gateway.

  • The 2 screens option allows you to give a mate who lives elsewhere an account and both use it right?

    • +1

      Yes.

So signed up for a new number with the Optus eSIM, now clicking the link takes me to the page where it shows the pricing and clicking on that then takes me to the login page of Hubble. But there doesn’t seem to be anyway to sign up a new account, only log in with an existing account?

EDIT: Just saw AloMel is having the same issue. There's nothing on the page to be able to sign up to a new account, using either Safari on iPhone and Firefox and Chrome on PC.

    • Perhaps just contact Kayo Support as ask them what the issue is.
Who knows, perhaps the SIM number you got from Optus was used in the past as Kayo never seem to delete accounts!

      • Perhaps just contact Kayo Support(help.kayosports.com.au) as ask them what the issue is.

I haven't even entered in the number, that's my entire point.

It doesn't give you an option to sign up, only to sign in. The bar at the top shows for about a second with the login and sign up buttons but clicking the sign up button does nothing and it goes to the this page and no other option to sign up

        • Try redeem voucher after logging in or creating a new account, this is the voucher from the link kXqVyBt2V3

          • +1

@Cool86: I know what the voucher code is.

Even going to https://hubbl.com.au/register it sends me to the page that I did the screenshot above. This is on 4 different browsers and 2 different connections. I don't have a clue how any one is signing up for a new account with Hubble.

            • @Nousernamehere: I tried today and it worked now. I think there was a glitch in their system. I just subscribed through android chrome. Good luck !

Thanks OP. Looks like it is working with inactive accounts. I have used one of my old account to active this.

    • Didnt work for an account i havent used since 2020. Said i had previously had a streamotion account.

      • Not sure how it worked for me. Can you try getting the voucher code from the link from the post and try applying it in your account redeem voucher section.

        • +1

Already tried it and just gives the same message.
"As you already have an account with Streamotion you are not eligible to receive the offer you selected. But the great news is we can offer you the following packages."

      • This is the voucher kXqVyBt2V3

  • Anyone else getting the following error:

"There was an error processing this request

    access_denied
Cannot read property 'user_profiles' of undefined" ?

Occurs when I enter my phone number which hasn't been used with hubbl before. I have however used a family member's kayo subscription in the past. Logged out completely and cleared cookies - still no dice.

    • For the sake of testing, I had no issues a second ago. I selected to sign up, and took me to https://auth.streamotion.com.au/. I had no issues entering a (random) mobile number. I got the message saying it had sent Code to it. I didn't go further as some poor sod will be wondering what the SMS Code was all about :-)
Point being, no issues testing. I used Chrome on PC.
