This price only applies to the "good" condition, which according to the grading (https://shop.greengadgets.net.au/pages/device-condition) will "display more obvious signs of wear such as significant scratches, blemishes, scuff marks and/or small chips."

These devices were unveiled alongside the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini on September 14, 2021, and became available on September 24. They were discontinued on September 7, 2022

    • They were discontinued on September 7, 2022

and will continue to receive iOS updates for many years to come…

What's your point? Mine was simply $629 for mediocre condition/second-hand/three year old tech is not a good use of OP's capital…

        • What's your point?

That the phone will still work fine for many years to come.

          three year old tech

All the iphone apps will still work fine on it…

@jv: You can buy two if you want 🤣

            • +2

@Ashburtonian: You can, and you can also buy one or none…

    • 520 where?? lol I say BS to that.

After cancellation, I got charged 526. I got my first month refunded.

iPhones are actually retarded. I get free music on my Samsung(Vanced and outertune). I'm able to torrent, on the phone. I can run REAL firefox, not the WEBKIT Hunter Biden Laptop version, which is just Safari RESKINNED.

And the 8 Elite has better GRAPHICS, better MULTICORE and more RAM(12 vs 8) than the A18 Pro. Imagine actually using 8gb in 2025, living in the (profanity) stone age.

Paying more for less, iPhone users are actually hurt in the head, I'm convinced.

        • "Imagine actually using 8gb in 2025" - I'm still using a GP5 and it has 8GB. It's fine.

          • @MrZ: What's a GP5?

            • @John Barosa: Google Pixel 5

              • -1

@MrZ: Lol that phone was even more crap. The shittiest Pixel they ever created.

How tf, do you look at the Pixel 4A 5G, which is better because it has a headphone jack and cheaper, or look at the Pixel 4, which is more powerful, better designed, and buy the 5?

                • @John Barosa: I bought it 2nd hand in 2023 and I don't use the headphone jack anyway. More RAM and better battery according to the specs. Plus upgradable to Android 14 instead of 13.

                  • @MrZ: Fair enough. htought he 4a 5g also has android 14

        • Agree. I paid $499 for my Pixel 8 Pro and can't fathom why anyone would own an iPhone aside from because they're already sucked into the ecosystem.

          • +2

@Maths Debater: My grandparents use an iPhone, because they used an old Android, back when iPhones were superior. Then after using the iPhone, they never felt like going back. Understandable.

For other people, I think it's honestly reputation. Androids have a shit reputation, because the text messages are blue. Apparently there's a culture around teen girls bullying ones with Android phones. Also snapchat and insta apparently work better on iPhone. And the myth that iPhones take better pictures. Pretty shitty that apple has to resort to actual bullying, to sell their phones.

I mean I'm typing this on a Mac, so I'm not even an Apple hater.

            $500 P8Pro isn't bad.

            • +2

@John Barosa: Well said, it's absolutely beneficial for the older generation that require simple steps to perform a task. I couldn't even imagine giving my parents an Android phone, I may as well become full time tech support at home for free.

Completely agree, it has a cult following. I remember Apple attacked Samsung for the green bubbles in an old marketing campaign insinuating how it wasn't "cool" and "unattractive" to the opposite sex. It is exactly that, a statement or perhaps even a flex, given how expensive their flagship phones have become.

The trouble with Android is that there are too many options, people do not like options. I remember Gordan Ramsey always criticising restaurants with large menus, kind of makes sense if you think about it.

Yep, my exact situation. I hate Windows so have opted for an Apple laptop. That's as far as I will go in the ecosystem, however.

              • +1

@Maths Debater: How is Android more difficult than an iPhone? Click to open an app on both. Maybe fingerprint is harder than faceid, otherwise idk. I meant back in 2012, it was kind of crap and slow.

Yeah. All iPhones you can buy are good, albeit EXTREMELY overpriced. Google Pixels can be good, depending on the price. But most Samsungs are absolute crap. Only S series are worth buying, and even then, you want to avoid the Exynos versions. Samsung's brand is also crap. They make good products, but sales go on so frequently, that it defo is seen as cheap.

Mac laptops are amazing, but on desktop, I do prefer Linux with GNOME.

                • @John Barosa: Support for an iPhone is far superior.

                  • @dylanando: My S25 has 7 years of ANDROID OS UPGRADES. 6.5 remaining. After 7 years, it doesn't matter too much. CPU will get slow, phone will fall apart, battery will degrade.

Myth propagated by Hunter Biden's laptop.

                    • @John Barosa: According to gsmarena, only the 5G version of the Pixel 4A is upgradeable to Android 14.

                      • +1

@MrZ: 4a 5G and 4a are different phones, with different chips and different stuff. 4a 5G is closer to 5, than 4a.

        • more RAM(12 vs 8) than the A18 Pro. Imagine actually using 8gb in 2025, living in the (profanity) stone age.

Actually the iPhone 13 Pro has 6gb ram. iPhones didn’t get 8gb ram until the iPhone 15 pro came out in late 2023 (the 15 and 15 plus still had 6gb ram).

    • Wooooow. I paid 520 BRAND NEW for my S25. Lol imagine being such a sheepie

      Yet you up-vote the deal?

      • Meant to downvote. Said I needed to wait 30 days. Then I clicked the upvote button, I don't know why. Then I tried clicking it again to remove, which didn't work.

I’d probably look to save a bit for a 16e or try find a good condition second hand 15 Pro. The A17 Pro processor from the 15 Pros being a line in the sand for Apple Intelligence features feels like it’ll be a processor that will have more legs to it than its immediate predecessors, in the same manner that M1 support continues to be enduring on the Mac lineup.

  • Price is way too high for a C grade. But speaking of 13 Pro vs 15 Pro - literally a week ago I was thinking which one to choose (don't forget for a used 15 Pro you need to spend double). Eventually got in hands both of them and gues what? Zero difference in day to day use or photos quality. The 13 Pro is honestly the same phone apart from a few little gimmicks in 15 Pro (Ai is a joke for now). But if you want to spend that much for a 13 Pro, then yes better get 16e or 15 Pro. Otherwise if you can get a 13 Pro at decent price around $500 mark and 256gb and mint condition and battery - then go with 13 Pro - plenty of life in it.

lol every generation iPhone is "honestly the same phone (as the previous gen) apart from a few little gimmicks" - the camera on the iPhone is still 12MP, same as the iPhone 7 from nearly 10 years ago lol you could get basic point and shoot 20MP cameras 10 years ago.

Had a really bad experience with these guys. Phone had been tampered with internally.

Apple said the battery health didn’t match the number of cycles. Mine arrived with health of 84% and was hopeless, 6hrs max.

The condition was otherwise perfect, like it looked brand new.

I called them to question and they offered a refund within about 7 seconds.

Had to follow up 2 times to get the refund, phone was received but they didn’t pay. Eventually came through.

  • Good Condition: "This item will display more obvious signs of wear such as significant scratches, blemishes, scuff marks and/or small chips."

    For $630?? No thanks.
