Wow $9 for 2 slices…where we have we got to…

      lol

      • lol indeed l.

I have an Ooni Pizza over at home and in true ozbargain style I have calculated the cost of a Neapolitan-style Margherita at about 90 cents.

So much better than this McCain crap. But a deal is still a deal!

        • +4

How many pizzas do you have to make to get the money back from buying the ooni pizza oven

          • @Carbon Door: and the gas…

            • @alo1234: The 90 cents takes into account the gas usage (it heats up enough in 5 mins) and depreciation on the oven that I got at a massive 40% sale. Already made thousands of pizzas.

BTW you still need to buy an electric oven and use electricity to power a 2k - 5k watt oven. Maybe you’ve forgotten that. Enjoy your McCain!

          • @Carbon Door: depends on your math, for me probably not too many considering the average neapolitan style pizza runs you $30+ from an actual pizza place

        • +11

I'm in awe at your choice of pizza topping. Neapolitan is my favourite. But how do you get the strawberry, vanilla and chocolate ice cream sections to not melt and mix together during the cooking process?

        • How did you get to 90c? That's an impressive sum considering floor / cheese / sauce / gas not to mention the unit cost

    • +12

Don't look at the number of slices, look at the weight > 540g. Works out to $0.65 /100G which is about as cheap as it gets for frozen pizza.

      • Just grabbed a couple and it does have plenty of weight, and says edge to edge, maybe they actually applied a decent amount of cheese

      • +3

Given how little cheese these has, its more like frozen pizza base.

      • +1

McCain is the worst frozen pizza, it's worser than even Colesworth pizzas.

        • Your grammar is worser than this pizza.

      • What if it's like 95% flour?

    • drama queen…

    I want a margarita pizza

  • Any specials on cheese pizzas?

    • Why would someone downvote this?

I pay them. I'm trying to create psycho-reactive slime with negative votes.

  • Ah McCain you’ve done it again!

Isn’t that for their corn though?

  • Dinner is sorted

    No hawaiian or supreme?

Cheaper than Aldi 400g versions though.

    • Oops, I meant Aldi 500g versions.

    • My local supermarket has stopped stocking the supreme one for some reason. I’m gutted

they count a serving as one slice… yeah, 6 servings in a box.

Big family meal for $3.50, nice.

spose they want to try to hide from ozbarganers that they are getting 27g of saturated fat when the polish off the whole box

    (Was $9) @ Woolworths

No, it was $7 last week.

    • +3

This, I stopped buying these and the pockets since they all went up to $7 and never went half price again. Was about to say I might finally grab some again but they can go get stuffed now. Glad that inquiry from ACCC did something, not.

    Airfryer approved.

    Quick and cheap!

  • Now all I need is a cracking deal on airfryer

      and statins

  • Their Supreme Pizza has changed… I thought the Logo was the only thing different but even the taste of them. The other Pizza's are fine tho but something is really off with their supreme pizza.

    Ripoff.. buy these and this

.. and a tomato if you're feeling rich, haha

  • This or a dominos value range on discount and freeze?

    • Dominos. These things are absolutely disgusting.

  • Do people still eat mcains frozen dishes
