$899 seems like a good deal for a 5070, seen recent deals from techfast and saw that this is good, but also seems that there could be other deals about, seems to be a few available for $899 from other retailers, but with amazon next day delivery and added support from them.

        Hopefully this is a trend, and not just NVIDIA clearing out stock for the super series. But still tho, good price, for 1500-1600, you can get a solid PC.

        Tbh 5070 is bit of a red headed stepchild of the series. But at this price it’s alright, just wish it had more vram

      The 7800 XT doesn't have access to FSR4, so even though it has 4GB more VRAM it won't hold up as well as this 5070 in the future IMO.

      12GB is stingey nonetheless.

        5070 won't hold up in the future. Doesn't even hold up now.
        In all my years, I've never had vram being the limiting factor, but now, The 12gb means you can't run some current games at max settings even though the GPU chip itself can handle it. Kinda regret buying it.

          I'm running a 12GB card currently, playing AAA games. The only two games I've run into a VRAM bottleneck are NBA 2K25 and CP2077, both of which are, again, AAA games.

          If you're mainly playing eSports titles and older games 12GB is, and will be, fine.

          I guess YMMV.

      Could not recommend 7800xt at more than $600. $800 would be insane. 5070 even with 12gb at $900 for sure. Or just fork out the extra for a 9070xt at around $1130 from that current deal. Seriously $800 for a 7800xt is not the ozbargain way

      I have this 5070. The 12gb vram is a real issue in 2025 with some games. The card is powerful enough to run ultra settings over 60fps, but because of vram limits, the games end up crashing, so have to settle for high settings

    That's a good price. Equals the best I have seen at Centrecom, but has the advantages of:
    - Shipped to arrive tomorrow (instead of 3-4 days to Sydney)
    - Has a no questions asked 30 day return with original packaging
    - Can use the Amazon 10% off gift cards I purchased last year, so it's even cheaper!

    Going for 852 on Centrecom Ebay. Sold my 4070S for 900 bucks earlier this year so I basically got paid for a side grade. Fits perfectly in the FormD T1

    These cards undervolt and overclock very well. Running one at .920v, 2880mhz core, 16000mhz memory. Rock solid and temps go down significantly as well.
