Electric staplers are scary as hell!

    • +2

I was always terrified of the one at my university…. then I used a compressed air staple gun and it suddenly didn't seem so bad.

  • interested in the chair, anyone have advice regarding it (looking for a cheap student chair)

    • OW does a pretty darn good job of cheap and nasty chairs… I don't imagine this one to be much different (nor would I hope for much from a 2 year aldi warranty for a chair).

    • Don't know about this chair. But if u r after a cheap chair to be used daily for a few hours, I would suggest try to find a cheap Ikea Jules swivel chair, even 2nd hand would be fine. The chair (or the base) is often in the Ikea clearence AS IS section for half the price… It is a surprisingly comfy student chair.

    • my advice to you: buy the one with metal base.

    Electric Stapler
    Electric Sharpener

    The epitome of laziness….

    • If only they used electricity for good, not evil.. like having an electric office chair (steering + spinning).

    • Electric sharpener is a bit safer than my Stanley knife.

      How's your abacus workin out?

Oh please, most people that have desk jobs have already lost the BMI battle so why fight it.

I like the Corona Extras $31.99 a case!

Suspect by the placement of your comment that you've downed a few already! Great deal - Muchos cerveza muchacho!!!

Oh, and good to see that the usual dearth of electric stapler deals has been well and truly put to bed tonight on OB…

interested with the electric stapler. wonder how it works…hmmm…

If you're against slavery don't get it.

They harness labour from an entire platoon of electric gnomes that bend tiny pieces of metal to bind your sheets of paper together.

just don't put your hand under it to try it.

      wonder how it works…hmmm…

      batteries.

  • I bought the electric Stanley from my local Aldi store last time these were no sale, and they work really well and are also very quick.

    • ^Electric sharpener*

  • I got the chair last yr. It's not bad at all, quite comfy. The only bad thing is the wheels don't extend out far enough, and on a hard surface, if you sit on the edge, or do something silly like try and rock back on it it will slide out from underneath you

not a problem on carpet / rug

Also, they forgot to put the circular chrome piece on the arm rest in the Advert picture XD (See thread sticking out at bottom of arm rest were it screws on)

    • I had the chair from last year too, but just a couple of months ago it totally failed. The welded point where the lift mechanism attaches to the bottom of the chair just totally bent and cracked off. Unfortunately last year they only gave 1 year warranty and it's been more than a year now. Anyway the chair wasn't the most comfortable to begin with, somehow the seating position is quite forward-leaning. The base being metal has lasted longer than the plastic ones on any of the cheap OfficeWorks chairs.
