Extremely cheap set with two drills, two 1.5 Ah batteries and a fast charger. Great option for basic home DIY tasks.
Many OzBargainers have used these for years and are satisfied.

Exactly what this is
I'm agreeing with you.
Who would have thunk it
I thought this…but I bought an XU1 angle grinder in 2001 for $20 (half of you probably weren't born then). Plan was to use it for the iffy / shitty jobs. I have flogged that thing through many bathroom renos, roofing and fencing. Dropped it off a roof or 5. Concrete cutting in the rain…you name it..Diamond discs come and go..she still runs like in 2001. It even came with a spare set of brushes. I'm still on the second set.
But it is corded (so can't comment on batteries). It weighs twice what my Makita does and it gets hotter than the Sun.
But truly a trooper. It will be wall mounted when it finally packs it in…$20 well spent .
It says "brushless" on the handle, did they put the word there just for fun?
Maybe the handle is brush free?
Good pick up though, no way these are brushless at this price.
It will be brushless. XU1 stuff drops hugely in price at times.
The issue with this will be the battery pack.
Single row of cells. Low torque, short life span. Im sure reviews out there say this. Therefore it doesn't sell…clear em out..
But if you can put an adapter for a 4Ah Makita, Ozito, DeWalt, Milwaukee etc battery..this little kit would be a ripper..
Does such an adapter exist?
@safrane: If you have a 3D printer -

Maybe some of the ozbargain 3D printer guys can print them up and sell them to other ozbargainers (for cheap of course)
@patrick321: I do indeed have a 3D printer. Many things in this house now run off drill batteries. The best is the kids ride on cars. 2 x 18v Makitas and she is drifting turns beautifully.
Fun fact, XU1 is an Ozito brand, without the Ozito warranty.
If you're someone that will use these tools for under an hour a year, you'll never be covered by the 12 month warranty.
If you're such an infrequent user, you probably won't touch the impact driver.
If this is you, you may be better off spending $20 more for the Ozito brushless compact drill and 2.5Ah battery kits (with 5 and 3 years warranty respectively).

https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-2-5ah-battery-and-…
problem is ozitos is pretty affordable as is and their batteries are cheap and plentiful
and so why would you bother with a 2nd rate ozitos with even less skins and more expensive batteries
That ozito drill has a trash 10mm chuck. Don't get that.
I'd take the XU1 and try and find an alternative battery.
*Edit - they sell a 4ah XU1 battery for $40. Would make both tools much better. No idea what cells are inside though.
This might be personal preference, but I MUCH prefer screwing with an impact driver than with a drill.
Plus for many projects you'll constantly have to switch between drilling and screwing, so you'll have to switch bits each time.
So if I had to choose between the XU1 set and the arguably better Ozito drill (and I didn't have any other tools), I'd choose the XU1 any day of the week.
It's subjective as I said, but definitely what I'd do.
If you've already bought the Bosch (at $99), stick with it, it's going to be a much better tool than this absolute budget brand (XU1)
As per my first comment. My Bosch gave up first!
I did use an XU1 rotary sds recently for $79. It was a bit too light, but still impressed me. Unfortunately the Ozito 18v rotary SDS dropped at $99, and I went with that instead. That has been a little ripper as well. ..if my mates ever stop borrowing it.
Are you sure?
Can anyone confirm if these use Worx/Rockwell/Tool pro batteries? I think I read this previously. Anyway going to buy and see myself. For $50 it's a steal.
Also curious on your findings
These are great, as a 'uses it for less than 1h a year' person it's just what's needed, I've had my set for at least 5 years now. The impact driver easily sees the most use around the house
$50 just for the impact driver is a great buy, and you get the drill with it, why would you complain?
I have older model from past deal. They work well and I would recommend. I usually use them to fix my car
Thanks for sharing. It's clear that people who have used these are satisfied and the people who haven't are the ones recommending more expensive options.
It's understandable to turn up your nose at budget tools if you bought the flash ones that remain pristine.
same here only I used it for fixing lawnmowers and other things while on the road
XU1 4ah battery $39 damn… Not sure if I can justify but this kit sure is cheap
Mine got delivered today. NOT the same battery fitting as Xfinity, Certa, Hychika, Worx, Tool pro or Rockwell unfortunately. Back it goes to Bunnings.
Edit: though tempted to keep given they are brush less. Cheaper than buying a replacement battery for my other tools
Can anyone please recommend the cheap and best drill bit set for this drill, my requirement is just need to build a small deck 2 meters one and house hold use only
Bought this for $25 at Bunnings Notting Hill (yellow sticker/label special). They still had 4-5 units left on the rack at the tool shop.
Crappy tools, fantastic price.
If you're someone that will use these tools for under an hour a year, they are exactly what you need for all your screwing and drilling needs.
