    • $59 is perfect for that.

      • which one is the $59.99 one? It's not on the list. (Even crossed out)

        • Main link. Click on the photo but coupon may have gone.

          • @boxall: Dayum, is 144hz going to cause any issues with compatibility or will it just run slower?

            • @Jackson: Nope no issues. If your pc can drive it at 144 it will run at that speed. Otherwise it will probably just do 60.

    • It depends on your current monitor setup. If you want it as an extra monitor on the left or right of a standard 16:9 display, I’d personally prefer one of the cheap 24” 1080p monitors.

If you want it under your display (e.g. if your current monitor is on a monitor arm), then get whatever will fit.

If you’re not using an external monitor at all that’s another criteria. The 16" 2560x1600 is probably the best option, since you get a nice high-res screen for text display, and 60Hz is fine for office work.

    • I'd go for the 2.5K monitor, though the lack of a VESA mount is a bit of a pain if you want to mount it on a monitor arm. Not a problem if you just want to put it on your desk.

  • +2

The reviews seem mixed as to whether some support passthrough charging, or single cable power/video. Some list the latter as a spec and the others don’t. The $80 one definitely advertises, and is reviewed as, a single video/power cable operation, although not clear if you can also have it as passthrough with a power cable into it.

    Best Overall Value:

ARZOPA 2.5K Portable Monitor 16", 2560x1600 HDR – For $109.99 (or $99.99 with code), it offers the highest resolution, HDR support, and a kickstand, making it excellent for both productivity and media.

    Use Case & Recommendation
    Budget Gaming 🟩 1st option ($79.99) — good 144Hz gaming value
    Color Accuracy & Media 🟦 3rd option ($99.99) — 106% sRGB + 144Hz
    High Resolution & Productivity 🟥 4th option ($109.99) — 2.5K, HDR, sharp visuals
    Large Screen & Media Use 🟨 2nd option (17.3") — great size + 100% sRGB

It is worth noting that HDR on any of these monitors is fake and totally worthless. They are edge-lit LCDs with a max brightness of 300 nits - not an experience that adds anything.

      • fair, I also should note when it says 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th option that isn't its recommendation, its simply the order in the original post here.

      • z1rc is 500 nits

    • Nice breakdown. The "4th option" and your "Best overall" is also the best for productivity because of the 500 nits brightness

    • +1

Went with the "4th Option". Having a 2k 14" laptop, thinking it best to keep as similar resolution between them as possible.
I recently used a 1080p portable external and the additional workspace is nice but not having the same aspect ratio is what made it just that little bit not as nice to use.

      • We are in the exact same situation. 14" laptop. 1080p portable screen. Now purchased the 2.5k.

    • yay! I bought this one by weighing up the cost vs benefits manually in my head under the time pressures of ozbargain! Glad to see AI agrees with my deductions.

  • Damn just bought the 16" 2.5K one on Saturday for $199!

    hangs head in shame

    • +3

Damn just bought the 16" 2.5K one on Saturday for $199!

      Just return and order again

    • same. i purchased on friday,…then ordered another this morning.

  • Legend.
    Appreciate you.

Bought the gaming monitor but its primary use will be for CCTV viewing haha

  • +1

Do they make these in touch screen?

    • yes, not these models in the OP though

    • I want to know that too. I feel like I want to buy one but I can't think of a use for it. Unless it it has a touch screen.

  • +1

Is the quality and durability any good or is it destined for e-waste after a couple of years?

  • Which of the Z1RC(2.5K) or Z1FC(1080P 144Hz) would be a preferred choice for extending laptop screen and casual gaming connected to a home console.

    • +1

      go for Z1FC for gaming

144hz & 1080P resolution is closer to native

    • +1

I went with the 2.5k, if more work is done on it. It's got a brighter screen than the other one.

  • Thanks, picked up the 2.5k one.

  • +1

    These are actually insane prices.

  • There is no code?

  • thanks bought the ips one with half price case for $100 with payto code

  • Which one is the best for work?

  • Thanks, got the ARZOPA 16.1'' 144Hz + ARZOPA 16.1" Portable Monitor Sleeve (50% off coupon with monitor) for $95

  • With the 2.5k screen, do i need a mini hdmi on my laptop or a normal sized hdmi?

    • +2

Normal hdmi on laptop to mini hdmi cable normally is included.

  • the cheaper models are sold out now

  • These are great as all-in-one Switch docks.

    • Which one is best for switch

      • +3

the 144hz one is better for switch 2 as switch 2 support higher refresh rate

        • Thanks mate, I was deciding whether to choose 144hz 1080p or 60hz 4k but I guess for gaming the hz makes more of a difference so will go with the 144hZ

        • Nope.

When docked, the Switch 2 can hit up to 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution at 60 frames per second.

  • +2

Got the 2.5k and case for $124. Didn't let me use card10 for some reason

    • How did you get the case as well for $124 in total?

      • Go to the case and there is a 50% coupon you can add

        • Thanks!

    • Thanks got the same!

    • Beauty, cancelled my original order with the 2.5k only, and did another purchase with this deal. Cheers!

      • +1

I did the same for my 2.5k except I failed with the 17.3" because it was no longer available after I cancelled it. D'oh!

  • +1

$80 deal not working. Coupon not applying at cart or checkout - keeps coming up as $160 - does say only 2 left so possibly OOS.

Ended up buying the $110 QHD model instead.

  • What stand do you guys use to hold the monitor in place? Would a normal tablet stand work for these devices? Looking for something portable and smallish in size

  • Working for anyone?

    • +2

The 2 in the title have expired.

The $99.99 and $109.99 ones in the description still work.

  • +1

Thanks 16" 2.5k should be way better for work use than the low res one I currently have

  • +1

Good deal. Got the 2.5k without thinking too much. I assume it will also sell out fairly soon.

  • +1

Cheers OP, bought the 2.5k with the sleeve earlier this morning

  • Don't know why its marked expired, the last two models on the list still working.

    • +1

Mods base it off the items in the title only

  • Any recommendations for a sleeve for the 2.5k one? :)

    • or type in '16 laptop sleeve' to amazon, plenty there. You'll likely want one with a pouch to store the usb-c and hdmi cable.

    • +3

It depends on how you will carry it. The sleeve they sell is just soft and won't protect the screen from any impact.

The screens are relatively fragile is poked from the display side, so IMO it's worth getting a cheap 15.6" laptop hard case. Still not proper impact protection but helps a fair bit. Though is much bulkier than a sleeve, so if you are just putting it in a laptop case then a simple soft sleeve is fine.

      https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0D4QL7KGV

      • this 15.6' laptop case will fit the 16" monitor?

        • -1

          no

        • Monitor says: dimensions 14.37 x 10.55 x 0.39 inches. (which is 365 x 268 x 9.9 mm)
          Case says: internal dimensions 15.35 x 11.02 x 0.59 inches. (which is 390 x 280 x 15 mm)

So assuming the listed dimensions are accurate, then yes, it will fit.

      • I also have same question about this 17” case fitting the 17.3” monitor? Case looks good, I just hope it fits.

        • yes

        • +1

          Case Internal Dimensions : 16.53" x 12.01" x 0.59" (420 * 305 * 15mm)
          Display: Item Dimensions D x W x H 1D x 28W x 36H centimetres (360 x 280 x 10mm)

          So yep, should fit fine.

          • @Prong: Thanks. I think I was looking at the case width (16.53”) and confusing it with the monitor diagonal

  • hoping the 2.5K screen will work on the iPad A16… no reason why it shouldn't.
iPad is for when I need to login to work randomly at night whilst I'm on the couch and can't be bothered walking to the home office :D second larger screen with better res is going to be terrific if it works.

  • Looks like the 2.5K is now out of stock, showing currently unavailable for me

  • +4

    It's officially ozbargained

  • No more live code for this model anymore too ARZOPA 16.1'' 144Hz Portable Gaming Monitor, 106% sRGB 1080P FHD Kickstand Portable Monitor with HDR, Ultra Slim, Eye Care, External Second Screen for Laptop, PC, PS5, Mac, Xbox-Z1FC Grey

  • +1

thanks op, bought the 106% sRGB for home security and for the kids to play with their Switch when traveling.

  • Always miss this

  • -1

    2k version back in stock

    • +1

      no $90 off though

  • No VESA mounting…

Anyone know if there is a compatible hard case enclosure for this?

    • there's a range of 3D printed mounting accessories for it

  • Money hasn't come off my CC yet….. Hmmmmm.

    • +1

Money only comes off when it ships/is dispatched. So no surprise that it hasn't come through yet. Give it a day.

      • I think I was on to something…..

        • Now I would agree with you. Sadly.

  • Placed order for the 16” 144hz one in the morning and when I checked my orders just now and clicked on the item it came up as ARZOPA Portable Monitor 17.3", 1080P FHD. Wonder if I’ll get this instead

  • I got the 144Hz ones, thinking of using it with a PS5 to see if I can improve my Seregios avoiding game and if it's worth the upgrade from my current TV setup.

Is there any other items I need to make it work at 144Hz? i.e. would plugging in a HDMI to USB-C be enough or do I need more power to the monitor to make it go the extra Hz?

    • +1

It will only do 120hz with a PS5, thats a limit that sony put on the console no idea why but thats how it is other than that you should be fine powering it from the consoles USBC port and it comes with a HDMI cable although it's short.

      • +1

As long as I am getting the best output refresh rate wise, that is fine. 120hz is better than the maybe 60hz that I am getting now.

1m cable is fine for me. Atleast I'll not miss too much details up close.
