          To be fair I think 2-3 weeks ago it was only 15% off

          We’re not talking huge dollars once off but it does add up if you’re printing like 20+ kg a year

            @Jimothy Wongingtons: Yeah there are times when it's kinda worth holding out if not in a rush.
            Like don't bother if it's 10 to 15% IMO. And I remember one time there was an eBay Plus specific one then the days after that finished, the same discount came out but was for everyone.

            Which I have to start paying attention to cos my Plus has lapsed and they haven't thrown me a good yearly deal to renew yet lol

      They're my two main colours :) Black if I need it to hide, white if I want to paint it.

      I find most of the colours are situational…. (But I did have a really nice roll of a purple from Siddament a few months ago…)

    im using jayo meta which was the cheapest, no issue on a1 ams at all apart from the spool size is different

    If you want to see some pictures of what the different variations look like, I have started to gather them into a google doc

    My favourites are matte and marble as it hides layer lines and looks less like plastic without the typical sheen.

    Don't forget to check @flippsy's spreadsheet for pricing. (Yet to update from 15/17% code so this 20% deal will be slightly cheaper)

      Wow great comparison resource. Thank for all that effort!

      A suggestion here is maybe in the summary page put your own rating of "glossiness". A bit like your PETG matte vs PLA matte comment but maybe like a rating number across them all, something like that :)

      And like opacity rating like we talked about in a previous deal post.

      I've tried both the Black and the White. The black is great but the white is not matte enough for my tastes (more like semi gloss) particularly when compared to the PLA Classic for example.

      Yeah I've tried it - it's so strong that it's not good for print in place stuff, as it often won't break free! Love the finish on it though.

          The hole in Jayo spools is too big to fit the AMS Lite snugly though, so adapter is required.

      I know you have mentioned releasing your script at some point. Is this in a fit state to use yet? I'm not at the point of needing 10 roll stock ups, so I wanted to check stock on the 3-2, 6-4 and 5-3 deals. If it's not ready to go now, is there any chance of a quick run at some of these?

      (Big ask, I know, and no problem if you are too busy!)

        You'll need a python environment set up, install the dependencies, then save the page source for each ebay page in the same folder as store_name.html. Then you can run the script with python scriptname.py -all

        I do intend to develop this further, but won't have time this week, so feel free to have a play with it in the meantime🙂

    Noob question as I just got my x1c recently with ams2 pro but do these spools just load straight into ams2? I do have a bunch of Bambu empty spool so if not, do you re-wind them transferring over to these ? Any benefit to the Bambu rfid on other flaments?

      I have PLA+ in orange and it's kind of strange - it's not completely opaque (only the matte filaments are) but sometimes it looks dull and maybe a bit dirty? Other times it comes up as a fairly bright colour - presumably, more walls looks brighter - but it still falls a long way short of the vividness of the Prusa orange.

    For WA, best price I found 10kg Kingroon black PETG for $111.99 delivered (with code). I've used it in the past and has been perfectly fine on my X1C. Its not 1.1kg, but 1kg spools.
