    8% is a joke, sorry.

ShopBack is the joke, 8% is the tassel.

Better than a kick in the ass.

    • Yeah, it's just while awaiting another 10-12% deal tbh. I ran out and needed something.

Pay on card. Wait for 10%. Change payment method from card to gift card after the order. You can change payment method for deliveries/rides up to 30 days past.

        • Can across a few times where it wasn’t allowed. Reached out to support and they said it was “due to restrictions”. Didn’t specify further even on asking. YMMV but just be aware

This is limited, I've done this often and after ~10 orders you have to submit a ticket for each order. The automatic process gets disabled.

You often don't hear back and when you do it's usually enquiring as to why you're switching the payment method of so many orders; they make it difficult to do. Essentially the cap is around ~10 at a time, then support gatekeeps it at their discretion.

          • @Dyl: Hmmm not sure if I've hit the 10 or not. The process has changed a few times and I did have to go through support at one stage. Thanks for the heads up.

@sween64: I can’t recall the exact amount but it definitely has limits, I’ve hit the limit twice in the past.

They may have some kind of algorithm instead of a hard limit, but I’d estimate around 10 is always what I would get through before it goes to support.

If you get to support they usually just ignore your requests if it bulk requests (I was trying to do ~30 rides within the last month), a couple they may let slip through. Isn’t a solid method overall though; they definitely restrict it.

There’s also a time limit which is from memory around a month or something. You can’t go right back

If you're near Woolworths, 10% back as EDR points in Ultimate Everyone gift cards (Uber/Uber Eats) posted here.

    • Can't load them to balance though, so hard to use when there's low balance left

Can't load them to balance though

Yes you can. You just have to swap your Ultimate card for an Uber digital gift card via their exchange website.

        • Oh you can do that? I might go by Woolworths I guess lol

        • Likely the better deal tbh, 1,000 Qantas points can be equal to 20-30%+ depending on how you use them.

Woolworths rewards points (10%) is average
