60Hz. Fine if you are trying to run a QHD monitor using a RTX 5050.

State "Refresh Rate = 60 Hz" under the Product Information > Display on the Amazon Product page.
So yes, not great, but probs fine for office related work.

And you neg the deal why exactly?

      • +3

        Entitlement.

      • +4

Mainly this line: "Model: 31.5inch QHD HDR PC/Gaming Monitor | M32Y1Q"
It's not really a gaming monitor and is misleading on it's own.
Doesnt quite work as insinuated here and there are better products out there for similar money than this product.

Happy for moderators to reject my neg if thats not good enough.

        • "Gaming" like "Gaming chairs" probably

        • to be fair, the mods added that description to my post. But also, it's fine as a gaming monitor lol

          • @hoftos: I just feel that if you add a product description that specifies 'gaming' on any computing hardware (I saw this in the Amazon spec description for context), then it should go beyond a simple business/commercial grade product in terms of things like refresh rate and input latency. It just feels disingenous and often causes poor buying decisions.

In terms of a productivity monitor, I have no issues with it.

            • @Tenshu: No worries, probably not worth the neg for your own arbitrary prerequisites for usage of the gaming term. But you do you sir

        • What similar monitor would you suggest that has a higher refresh rate for not much more $ ?

          • -1

@oscargamer: This monitor when on sale is the better buy: https://au.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B0DRTQST72
On my initial post I recalled this being on deal recently but didnt end up purchasing.

If USB-C is not needed and VA isnt a deal breaker, you can also have a look at Gawfolk or Z-Edge monitors on Amazon. Both have decent enough reviews and provide what you'd want in a gaming monitor with a price very close to this.

            • +1

@Tenshu: Keep in mind only 15w PD for that usb c connection

            • +2

@Tenshu: So more than twice the price for moving from 60hz to 100hz?

A lot of people would also say 100hz is not 'gaming'

        • Perfect for Monster Hunter Wilds which gets 50fps at 1440p with DLSS performance on. If you play with frame generation on, then you get 50-80 fps, so this monitor is not for you. Go buy a more expensive monitor. /s

    • It was never marketed as a gaming monitor.

    Brochure
    https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5f281802f13df336014c7…

The manufacturer makes digital signage, panel is basic 8ms response time with 60-75hz range. Not for gaming.

Cool that they managed to put in 65w charging into such a low price point

Ship and Sold by Amazon so I guess you don't have to worry about warranty, should be very easy to return.

    • so does that mean I can connect a usb c cable to the monitor and use it to charge my laptop while the laptops screen also projects onto the monitor with the same usb c cable? so like a dock? thanks.

      • +7

Yes, the monitor supplies power over PD (Power Delivery) to the mobile device while also using that same cable as a DisplayPort input

Your laptop must support USB-C Alt mode for this to work.

        • thank you sir.

Interesting - seems to be new on the market from a digital signage supplier.

Someone left a helpful review on this site: https://www.centrecom.com.au/mitsumaru-m32y1q-32-qhd-ips-usb…

Worth a shot I think, if the specs meet your use case.

  • I ordered two of these for work :)

    • +1

Nice! Let me know how they are. For some reason my Amazon account is bugging when trying to order one, so thought I’d share them here anyway. Hopefully they don’t go out of stock when this fixes itself lol

  • Hi
Is this monitor suitable for Samsung Dex or IPhone Mirroring use case ?

If I have an existing monitor will this be able to use along with that to extend the display?

    Thanks

    • Yes

  • +1

We install this brand as a security monitor. Mostly 22", sometimes 24". Have a 32" on the next install, but havent opened it yet. They are rather average though. Nothing special about them to be honest. Streaming via 4 channel 1080p decoder.

  • I can't see anywhere if they can be mounted. Can it only be used on its stand?

edit: nevermind, saw the review on the site posted above and it does have VESA mounting.

  • I just bought one of these a few days ago. I was looking for a 27-32" monitor with USB-C input and this is half the price of the next option

I am not disappointed at all, would definitely recommend

It's not for gaming, just for my daughter to hook up her laptop and do school work

Just installed mine. Excellent for the price. I can get it to 75Hz. Won't work for fast twitch gaming, but great otherwise. Not as bright as my HP IPS out of the box - but you can play around with the settings. Trying to increase the response rate led to ghosting.

  • Is it able to display multiple inputs/screens simultaneously? Cheers

  • +1

Received mine today and it was dead on arrival. Huge line down the middle of the screen even before plugging it in. Also wouldn't detect my usb c. Luckily amazon is exchanging for me. I think I just got unlucky.

  • Got my two,, set them up and they are both working great… Awesome monitors :) hard to tell the differance between them and any other IPS screen.. apart from 75hz being the max refresh rate
