  • Dont you need to buy 2 Asus products for the 50 bucks?

    • +3

Not if you follow the instructions above.

  • great deal! just paid 208 for both but 50 aud credit also applied for the next purchase

    • +1

anyone in Brisbane wants this game?? i don't need it. I am in Chermside

    • +1

      How $208?? Listing says $239

      • I think he bought TUF Gaming AX6000

  • +5

I don't need a new router, and do not own a PS5 but my hand is hovering over the order button anyway, the FOMO is real.

  • +5

I wouldn't consider veilguard as a "good" bonus. I remember the game going on sale just 1 month after release.

    • +5

Main bonus is $50 Amazon credit.

    • The game is free, the checkout shows a $34 discount after you add the game.

The benefit is the $50 off your next Amazon purchase.

      • Ah gotcha

  • Followed the instructions to the letter but no $50 voucher :(

    • It doesn't appear on checkout screen?

      • Nothing appearing at checkout for me too.

        • Same.

        • +1

From testing, it only shows on the browser, if using the app it doesn't say anything. However you would get it regardless.

          • @hamza23: Same here nothing even on the browser.

Do you get the voucher in the email?

            • +1

@dealt: Deal expired about 10 mins ago.

              • @hamza23: ah ok, I did manage to buy both the game($29.22 but that was fully discounted) plus the ASUS tuf AX6000 gaming router for ($208) + VISAFIVE code (-5) 173.78 total

however didn't see the 50 voucher banner appear, though now it seems the game is gone and can't be added to cart. …

                • @dealt: Ah right. Not sure about the email, but the reason you can't buy the game again is as it only lets you buy it once.

If you try to add something to your cart now for $50+ shipped by Amazon, eg this and go to checkout, can you see the $50 promo credit there?

                  • @hamza23: Gotcha, no mate it doesn't show the promo credit there?! will chat with Amazon help and see, but thank you

                    • +1

@dealt: Okay not good, worst case and chat can't help, you can cancel your purchase now before it starts shipping, or return it if it has already shipped, after you receive it.

From what I can tell from other comments, you should have got an email as well.

                • @dealt: You should have received an email or message from Amazon saying that you have $50 promotional credit for use in your next purchase, expiring early November. The $50 does not appear as a gift card, credit or anywhere in your profile pages.

Yeah voucher doesn't seem to appear?

Update: Was on mobile, tried on desktop and it worked fine

  • Anything else useful can added instead?

  • +1

It didn’t say anything about the voucher on the checkout screen but I still got it after placing the order.

    • Didn't show for me in the app, but when I checked out on a laptop, it appeared.

Also received the email shortly after

  • Started getting network issues recently, I think too many wifi and zigbee devices running with Home Assistant, might be interfering with wifi. Probably time to upgrade my DSL-AC68U.

Asked Chatgpt about it last week, it suggested getting literally this model of router. It said to put the DSL-AC68U in bridge mode and use an RT-AX68U for routing. Only thing is I need some more LAN ports also as I want to put my TV on LAN. Should I just get a LAN switch for that purpose? Or go for a router than has more LAN ports?

Other option I was looking at was going for a second hand Unifi Dream Router WIFI6. They seem to go for about $350 on marketplace so slightly more expensive than this. Would still have the issue with LAN ports, but would just buy a LAN switch I guess.

    Any advice?

    • Asus RT-AX68U isn't available in AU and you may not need the DSL-AC68U.

      1. Do you have nbn FTTP, FTTC, FTTB, FTTN, HFC or Fixed Wireless?
      2. How much do you want to spend?
      3. What is your nbn plan? 50/20, 100/20?
        1. Do you have nbn FTTP, FTTC, FTTB, FTTN, HFC or Fixed Wireless? FTTB, get NBN from LAN port in my apartment
        2. Around $300
        3. 50/20 (just noticed I can get 100/20 for $2/month extra though, might upgrade)

Sorry it was the RT-AX86U it recommended, got the number mixed up with current router.

        • Asus DSL-AX82U is an all-in-one for nbn FTTB that replaces the DSL-AC68U. Asus DSL-AX82U is about $368.60 with a price beat @ Officeworks using Bing Lee $388.

You can bridge the Asus DSL-AC68U modem to the RT-AX86U Pro router. It depends if you want two devices though.

$30 TP-Link switch if you need more ports.

    This one is

    2.4GHz 3x3
    5GHz 4x4

    The ASUS TUF Gaming AX6000

    2.4GHz 4x4
    5GHz 4x4

  • Should I get this or the AX6000 TUF?

  • I've been successful in getting the $50 voucher on my rt-be88u order.

There's a info box saying "Qualifying offers - Congratulations. Your ASUS purchase qualifies for a $50 promotional credit to use on your next eligible order on items "shipped and sold by Amazon AU."" on the 'Place your order' page (immediately before payment details.

  • Picked up two this morning [I was tracking with camel], I got the $50 voucher.

  • Thanks got it! Didn't realise I had a $10 promo credit to use as well

  • ASUS TUF Gaming BE6500 wouldnt this one be better for a few extra $$ ?

    • That has a slower CPU.

  • No voucher for me ordering using the mobile app. Is it supposed to show in your account?

    • Please see description and comments above. The voucher $50 off your next purchase, it will just tell you that you are qualified, but only on the browser, not the app.

"Qualifying offers. Congratulations. Your ASUS purchase qualifies for a $50 promotional credit to use on your next eligible order on items "shipped and sold by Amazon AU."" Note: From comments, this message only displays on the browser, the app doesn't appear to show it.

    • It appears if you add an item sold and fulfilled by Amazon AU, and you go to the checkout page. The $50 promotional credit will be listed in the subtotals. It doesn't appear as a gift card or voucher in your profile.

  • VISAFIVE not qualify?

    • Should work.

      Edit: Yep.

      Order Summary
      Items: $273.00
      Delivery: $0.00
      Total: $273.00
      Visa $5 off $100 -$5.00
      Dragon Age Promo -$34.00
      Order Total:
      $234.00

      Qualifying offers:
      Dragon Age Promo
      Promotional Credit
      Visa $5 off $100

      • It said something about not eligible, maybe because the saved payment method is a Master card.

Anyway, purchased gift card from a reward gateway, worked out slightly in front.

        • Yes payment method must set to visa

  • Thanks, purchased to add another mesh node, to join 2 RT-AX58U.

Ideally this should be the primary, but the other 2 are wall mounted, this one can't, so it will stand next to TV.

  • Is $50 credit still available?
I just went to place order but and got error saying the router wasnt available. But i managed to re add into cart fine however the $50 promo credit isnt populating at checkout now(on desktop).
    Anyone finding the same?

    • +1

I think it is game over, $50 promo doesn't show on the listing anymore or at checkout.

      • Yep, same. Damn, had a few things to do. Wanted to try two AX3000Ps

      • Literally game over. The game is out of stock.

        Bought a PS5 game, when I don't even have a PS console. :D

        • The game is still in stock, but you can only buy it once. So it will show unavailable at checkout.

          • +1

@hamza23: I see, noticed if I buy another router, it's immediately $50 off, showing $189.

Edit: turns out the $50 off is the promotion credit, it's not to do with buying a second router.

    • Yes cos I cancelled my order as I didn't get credit ,so just cancelled it

      • Did you receive an email?

The promotional credit doesn't show up in gift card balance.

Only way to check, that I'm aware of, is try to check out something sold by Amazon to see if the credit appears.

        • i did but nothing was there

      • It only appears if you add an item sold and fulfilled by Amazon AU into your cart and go to checkout.

        • Tried but $50 didn't appear. My order hasn't been shipped yet. Could this be the reason?

    • For anyone like me who may still have their cart page open and hasnt yet checked out, I just now (10mins ago) managed to get the $50 promo.

Confirmed after placing order, waiting few mins and adding a rando test item to cart: $50 credit auto apllied at checkout.

Cant promise itll work for others but you can always cancel if it doesnt. Goodluck!

      • Did you get $50 credit after your order was shipped? Thanks

        • In case you were still wondering my $50 credit still auto populates in checkout.
No my order hasn't reached "shipped" yet. Ive got a tracking number though ETA monday

  • Apparently there's a CR worth 19 cents.

    ($239.00 − $34.00) ÷ 1.1 × 0.1% = $0.19

  • My order has been shipped but no $50 voucher appear if I order an item more than 50. I ordered in the app. Now I have to return it.

  • Hm the $50 credit never got applied despite reading it on the desktop while ordering

  • Is the Asus box shrink wrapped?

Received one without shrink wrap and some plug adapters are missing, though the Australian one is there. Power cord also looks unwrapped before, and excessive wear on the box. Not sure if it was simply mishandled or an used/returned unit.

    • For what i've seen of ASUS routers at Australian retailers that it's factory shrink wrapped. If it doesn't have it then it's been opened. So you got an opened and possibly a returned used item. It should have been factory shrink wrapped and never touched.

    • Mine is shrink wrapped from Amazon

    • Mine definitely shinked wrapped.

  • Is the $50 credit still on?
