$100 off coupon is still active. $49.5 with free shipping is an extra coupon for those who pre-registered and purchased but didnt get the bonus sound poscket.

      • @HanaLF - If we don't want the coupon, will the sound pocket be shipped when back in stock in November?

        • That doesn't look like an option. However, you can use the $49.50 coupon for any of the available products.

          • @Krishg: Thanks, would be good if the email support link on the website pointed to an actual email address 🫠

@h4lcyon: True, and their chat is unreliable as well. However, phone support was very responsive (and almost no wait times). Only Monday to Friday 9 to 6, I think though.

    • Check above message.

    • +1

It's Changed back to $100 now

  • Does it say when delivery is expected? Heading overseas so would be good for TRS

    • Expected delivery date: Same state: 1-3+ business days
      Interstate: 1-5+ business days

  • So if you order now do you get the 49.50 voucher? I'd use it on a mi band 10 if so.

  • -3

Folks FYI the delivery fee for orders under $69 is $9.90. Xiaomi should have made it free delivery for orders above $30 considering the suite of products that they have around that price range. I would not want to spend $10 delivery fee on a $30 product.

  • I cancelled my order. I know it's a $50 speaker however I have lost faith in the brand due to the poor launch and no respect for the customer. While their products may finally be upto Australian standards their customer service and strange promos with vague terms and conditions are not. I first tried resolving with chat and it fell on deaf ears. So I've cancelled my order and now am waiting for my money back. What an absolute headache of an experience. Lost me as a customer.

    • Good.we need more people to teach them a lesson

  • +1

I'm going to hold off a little to see how quickly they ship orders from people here that have placed one.

  • I don't even see my $100 coupon. I have pre-registered last week

    • +2

You logged in to your Mi account?

I see the coupons at bottom of cart once I add the phone.

      • thank you . I only saw $10 coupon. Now I can see the $100.

  • That was fast, my order has been shipped already (via AusPost). Also, FWIW: I got onto live chat to ask about the coupon for missing speaker, they said they had to escalate it to the relevant teams and it'll take 1-2 days. It sounds like I would receive it though. They will confirm via email once that happens but hoping for the rep to confirm.

    • Same i had a chat with them and 1-2 days wait for the coupon.

  • Just got a text that mine is shipped. I didn't get any of the issues everyone else did.

  • Bought the 15T Pro.Tks

For those who consider buying, just be ware there are significant overheats, lag and crashes issues for the Xiaomi 17 series (normal, pro and pro max), hopefully this is only a software issue and can be resolved via OTA update.

Found this recent Youtube video and you can turn on eng sub

Gonna wait til black friday by then see if they fix their sht up

  • Basically got to log on at 9am sharp perth time to quickly buy and check out. Even as I was doing so, my first preference in mocha gold 512Gb was sold out so I had to quickly change to grey. I didn't get any issues with the sound bar but I did get an email saying that it will be shipped separately. The phone itself has already been shipped which is so quick.

    • Did it come with the Redmi Pad? My receipt did not mention about it. Still in transit though.

    • Never mind. They got back to me. I ordered too early before they could set up the free Redmi Pad. LOL.
Had to cancel order and reorder.

  • +1

Is it just me or does neither their email or live chat work on their support page?

    • +1

Email was always broken but chat may be off today because they only work Mon to Fri.

  • Missed out on the Sound Pocket, contacted customer support on Friday afternoon and apparently the $49.5 coupon has already been sitting in my account since Friday 10:30pm.

  • Got the Smart Watch 5 Lite for $20 with free delivery with the $49.50 combo. Seems a good pick, just over free delivery minimum

  • +2

    I canceled my order for 15T Pro 512GB @ $1,099.

I bought a 15T Pro 1TB @ $926 from eBay instead. Normal price $1,026 less eBay Plus coupon code PLUSAVE and get $100 discount.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/397142514100?_skw=Xiaomi+15T+Pro…

I don't really want the Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2.

    • What about warranty?

    • +1

"Good seller, arrived relatively fast, well packaged. Would recommend Note: As mentioned, the seller is not in Australia but in Hong Kong. But it only took 7 days to arrive."

    • You probably could have sold the tablet for a couple hundred bucks

      • +2

I bought a Huawei mobile phone from overseas before, and Huawei Australia did honor their warranty here.
It would be hard to sell the tablet as everyone will be trying to offload them.
I think I will take the risk as it is $173 cheaper and comes with 1TB instead of 512GB

  • 512 oos?

  • +1

Having problems with their chat, get to front of queue after 50 minutes then they disconnect you. Keeps happening.
    Support email is literally fake.

Disappointing, may just cancel the order.

    • Call them it's faster

      • +1

Yeah, same issue. As soon as you're next, it conveniently has disconnects error

    • Same here, it always disconnects on my turn.

  • +1

Ok needed to be patient but got through in the end by calling then waiting a bit. The voucher has now come through.

So It's a good deal overall and glad I didn't cancel. Plenty of items to use the $49.50 voucher on like powerbanks etc.
There's a more powerful speaker on discount for $47.50 if you're sad about the sound pocket.
    https://www.mi.com/au/product/xiaomi-sound-outdoor/

    • Did you get your voucher right after the call? I called them on Friday, and they said I need to wait 2-3 days for the voucher to arrive. Still waiting…

      • You'd better call again, mine took a few hours

        • I just called, and they said I need to buy the phone first, then they’ll escalate the issue to provide the voucher. Did you have to do that, or were you able to use the voucher along with your existing order?

          • @Aakkad: Yes it's for people who've pre-registered and purchased

            • @trevor99: I have preregistered but I held buying the phone. When I called on Friday, they said it's a good thing that I didn't buy the phone and I should expect a voucher so I can apply it. When I called today they said I need to buy the phone then I will receive the voucher.

              • @Aakkad: That's what I did, bought Friday then started pestering them today. You can always cancel before it ships, because appears it's on backorder or preorder now

                • @trevor99: If you have bought the phone already, check your account for coupons. https://www.mi.com/au/user

Or just try adding an item to cart and see if it auto applies a coupon worth $47.5.

  • Has anyone received it or notice of the exact delivery date? On the day i ordered it I received an initial email saying that it is coming(friday), today I got another email with tracking code which does not show much other than 'pending' status.

    • If I remember correctly, if you are within NSW, it is 1-3 business days and outside NSW, it is 3-5 business days.

      • Thank You, so used to Amazon prime delivery as side effect became less patient
