  • Haha, It is funny, because it is a joke.

    • I know.. selling everything below cost is hilarious.

Eep, if stock costs that much, your on the wrong end of your suppliers stick…

I think you may be thinking that this is a custom built PC.. it's an HP branded model

This is a terrible build, and at that price!
The graphics card is a complete waste of money, ranking well below Intel HD4000 graphics.
"Memory 4 GB" 4GB of what?

This HP was actually selling for $794 at Harvey Norman and I knew someone who actually bought it, thinking the i7 and Radeon 7450 would be enough for gaming.

        Poor fellow.

        • He should have gotten the AMD A10 APU it would have outperformed that graphics card, it comes with a 7660 and only costs like $135

  • Good price for 3TB WD Red but shipping kills!!
Bought $170 minus 5% discount using ING @PLE yesterday.

    • Does ING only give 5% when the transaction is under $100?

    • They let you split it up into multiple transactions?

      • +1

Yes, You can pay using credit cards without any extra fee.
And they let me made several payments using the same card..

        bought n40l + 2x3TB
used my gift vouchers and ing card. 5% off total.

no dedicated graphics card and they call it a gaming pc, what a laugh

      • The graphics are better than the what's on offer in the HP.
But yeah I like the so called gaming pc's on ebay.
A better buy would be a i5 anyway.

      • Don't buy a whitebox system unless you now exactly whats in it. Very dodgy of sellers to sell a computer listing the basic info, but leave out the specifications.

        • Do many people actually buy these?

          I prefer building my own.

      • Love how they just put random logos everywhere to make it look like a major thing

        • Which random logos?
The logos on the photo are included software, except for the Win 8.
But it's just like all the MB's, the amount of logos on them are a bit over the top.

        • agreed. the logos are misleading. I saw a win7 and win8 logo there. Do they dual boot win7 and win8?

        • I'd say the win 8 logo is there to indicate compatibility.
They offer a $25 upgrade to Win 8

Ignore this, had wrong info in here….

Still a terrible box at the price though…

    • Box might be but N40L price is good.

  • Sorry pal. It's a piece of junk that most blokes wouldn't even bother pulling over for on hard rubbish night.

well I know someone who jumps at 'It's an i7!!!'..doesn't matter the rest..
so 'deals' like these will get those..

definitely will not get someone who is willing to do a few more 'clicks' and read up on forums like this with nice people who are willing to share information. in short, do a little more 'research'…

  • I still can't believe when they sell OEM computers they put security stickers on the case so that you can't open it… Imagine if they did the same thing to your car on your bonnet? seriously if you can't get rid of the dust or upgrade components without having to ship it back to the manufacturer what is the point?

TBH I reckon this is a pretty good deal though as it comes with 64 bit WIN7 Home Premium and Microsoft Office 2010 PROFESSIONAL plus a free commercial antivirus.

    • Are you talking about my ebay link?
