Saw this today at NQR and with all the coke deals i see, i thought this was too good to pass up for the people. Mind you i didnt have time to investigate it properly incase it was some parallel import or close to expiry so im none the wiser there. I think ill have to go back and check it out when it cools down.
They also had eggs there for 1.69 and coon light cheese for $2.50 for a 750g block.

You just know when they stuff up a batch, say too much preservative, wrong mix of ingredients, apprentice slagged in the mix etc they send it off to NQR.
Not all things at NQR are out of date (and indeed many are just past their "best before" which other major retails continue selling regardless) or bad for that matter. I miss not living close to one :(.
Doubt they're that desperate for profits.

The website doesn't even mention it. Maybe the Coke has hallucinogens in it. The poster has had a few sips from a bottle after buying from a store in Germany and become disoriented, thinking he's back in Australia.

Was at my local (Melton) NQR the other day and they had 24x600mls in the fridge at the back for $10, They are most likely $10 because the best before date was Feb 1st 2013 but the pack I got is perfectly fine and still fizzy.

Nah, despite what the crank sites on the 'net might say. Its just a couple of amino acids, and more tested than anything except The Pill or aspirin.
However it does break down over time if warm, quickly if the pallet is left in the sun. You might find these not so sweet, and unsweetened coke is dishwater.
