    Reading Speed 3MB/sec
    Writing Speed 2MB/sec

    Ugh…

3mb reading is fast for a SoundWave Cassette Tape Transformer.

      @ozhunter

Lol. It's 8GB storage, not 8TB storage. I doubt speeds are going to be a problem for this case.

There is cheaper 8GB storage out there, but I can't speak for the Transformers one.

      • +2

Its going to take well over an hour to fill, even for just 8 gig.

        • -2

What would you possibly store exactly 8GB for in one large sum? That's my point. If you're storing 8GB at a time, you best spend your money into something that can hold more data.

        • Maybe not 8GB, but even if it's 4GB, to wait over half an hour is horrible.

        • -2

What possible 4GB file would you have to load at once? Lol.

        • Do you never drag a few movies to a USB and drop them?
          Or a OS.
Even my 2005 1gb usb runs faster than this.

        • What possible 4GB file would you have to load at once?

Your attempt to justify this speed is funny lol. Ever heard of transferring a few files at the same time such as a few episodes of a tv series or several movies.

        • -3

Lol at the movies. Shitty little XviD quality.

          TV eps aren't huge.

So it's not USB 3.0. Get over it. Clearly there are better priced products out there and cheaper too, so slam this product in comparison with a decent product instead of just the speed shown.

          Lol. Keep negging. ;)

        • Lol at the movies. Shitty little XviD quality.

Lol now you complain what kind of files are being transferred.

          TV eps aren't huge.

Yet, they would still take a long time with this usb drive.

          So it's not USB 3.0.

Never said it was :D At it's speed it's not even worth mention usb 3.0.

        • I'm not complaining. I'm laughing at it, as movies was used as an example for this shit stick. Lol.

Putting a ep of a show ain't going to take that long. The world won't end over a 120MB file. Lol.

There's nothing wrong with this stick for the average use of things. Comparing these low GB sticks for media is a joke.

        • How about 10,20,50 episodes to transfer to another computer or tablet. It would take very long.

        • Lol, you so funny. :P The chances of that happening aren't going to be huge. :P You're just reaching out to anything now for an example.

Funny that they would be downloading a 120MB file that looks shitty, though not wanting to watch it on their computer, they take the time to put it on a USB stick to plug that into another device. Lol.

People simply shouldn't be using these low GB sticks to store this type of media on it.

People should put a little more money into a decent product to get a high quality download to watch. :)

People should not be sharing GorillaVid quality anything with anyone. Lol.

Build a bridge and get over it the USB is slow and crap, not really suitable for anything that a USB drive is used for, if you're so in love with them feel free to stock up.

Who said anything about 120mb files other than you?

If you don't get it you never will.

        • You're just reaching out to anything now for an example.

I don't care what type of files are being transferred, 8GB of anything is going to take a long time. :D

People simply shouldn't be using these low GB sticks to store this type of media on it.

Why not? If their happy with it, good for them lol :)

        • @ ZRXS12.
That's how big TV shows are most of the time, as to what I was responding to.

There's nothing wrong with this stick for the average use of things, for those who are into Transformers. :D

      • My san disk performs only 'bout fifty times as quick, writes a·bout 30 g byte before this1 reach 1gbyte; similar sort of storage-to cost ratio though… $1.1 /gb, dayyyymn.

Oh wells, it appears you did say ' gift '.
