I knew these would come down in price. All I needed was just a little patience. Yeah.

Awesome! Can we take kids? I would like to go with that sweet child of mine.

    • Get yourself a hot 16 year old girlfriend

    • After seeing the age group and appearance of audience in KISS concert @Etihad last week, I'd be interested to know about this one's

    You can't, so Don't Cry!

Thanks for posting this. I saw them on Tuesday but wouldn't mind seeing them again. I'll have to get down to Melbourne though, might take the Nighttrain.

  • Catches: it's general admission

GA would probably have the better atmosphere though? Maybe not since GA are behind the seats rather than in front of them like at other venues.

Sitting down at a Gunners concert makes zero sense!

      • +1

Yeah it makes you Estranged from the rest of the audience.

      • Exactly, hopefully everyone else thinks the same way. I had seats once (GA had sold out) for a concert at Etihad and people sat most of the time, atmosphere was lacking and I vowed never to get seats again.

    • GA means you're a long way from the stage at the bowl and is terrible for a rock concert. Stall tickets at least give you a chance of getting right up the front in the smaller pit.

    • The grass area at Sidney Myer Music Bowl is still (relatively) close to the stage…at least compared to the likes of Etihad. That said, it's on a slope, so I guarantee that most will be sitting down with blankets (lame!).

It's not like you can mosh to GnR, and given their age, maybe sitting down is the go.

      • At the music bowl, everyone will stand when GnR come on, guaranteed

Only go if you have sympathy for the devil (Axl); some would say live and let live but he just keeps going on and on about Slash and how they're estranged! Don't cry dude! just sing and be nice to your audience.

    • A perfect excuse to tell him to get in the ring.

    • What a pussy - it's a couple of broken teeth. It's not like he's knockin on heavens door or anything.

    • That's if he even turns up!!!

    • I read somewhere that it wasn't a microphone that knocked his teeth out. It was Bad Apples.

  • When are they playing at surfers paradise ? .. I'd for someone to take me down to the paradise city

  • Nothing beats the Gunners at Calder Park…..Nothing!!!

    • I was there. Front row. Rose Tattoo supported there as well. I remember the huge storm that came through and they thought the stage was unstable and might collapse. Great show.

      • It was 4 seasons in one day, WILD! and that's the way I wanna remember them, not the fat slogs they are now!! lol!

  • I hope someone goes with a Slash shirt.

    Prices….slashed?

  • Bugga,

Clashes with Neil Young doing grunge at Geelong.

Got comp tickets to front GA, taking plugs….. <G>

  • I went last Saturday to the perth arena show. GA right up the front but I left with all my teeth! IMO zz top were the highlight

  • Niiiiice. Almost wasn't going to go(saw them last year), so definitely glad I hadn't already bought tickets. This is cheaper then they were in London!
