Microsoft "Arc" (Foldable wireless mouse) only $49 - 50% off @ Bing Lee (NSW/ACT)

140

In the February catalogue Bing Lee have the brand new Microsoft Arc foldable wireless mouse for $49. The RRP is $99 making this a real bargain (if you need a mouse :)

The idea behind this mouse is that it's foldable, so you can turn it into a portable notebook mouse or expand it to a full size desktop mouse when required. It has a tiny, snap-in receiver for maximum portability.

You can read more about it here - http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/productde… and view the demo here http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/docs/ArcM… (ignore the $59.95 RRP there - it's in USD, not AUD).

I should have posted this earlier as buyers could have taken advantage of the $25 rebate from Microsoft making it only $25 after rebate, but the promotion has ended.

Anyway, great deal for those who need a nifty mouse like this.

EDIT: Lowest price on staticice is $64.95 - http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=microsoft+wirel…

  • This is a great mouse…
It is especially good for people who requires a portable mouse to match their portable netbooks/notebooks/notbooks.

Even tho its portable but it is very comfortable compared to likes
    from Logitech & Targus.

Its a shame that its not bluetooth :(

But this is still a very good bargain!

  • Is it good to use it with Media Centre PC with HDTV? So that I don't need to have a surface to put my mouse on, right?

    • It claims to have up to 30ft wireless range, which is roughly 10 meters. It should work fine with a HTPC but like all mice need a surface to work on.

However, laser tracking should work on glass and carpet unlike regular optical technology which had issues on unconventional surfaces.

    • Get this if you have HTPC -> http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/9736

  • if it comes with 25% cashback period, that's so wonderful…

    • It doesn't :( - cashback ended 31st of Jan.

  • Guys, I have just purchased this mouse at office works,
they would honor it & sell it for ~$46. :)

The mouse itself is extremely comfortable & portable too!

I have never used such a comfortable netbook/notebook mouse before!
