This is why I love OzBargain. Inconvenienced himself to save 1 cent.

30cm is tiny! how are you suppose to use such a short cable?

    • +3

oh the things people are going to say…

      • i want a huge one :)

        • Short is better for data transfers. Longer you go, then its only useful for power purposes. I got a 1 meter ones but thats when hard drives are no longer recognised due to its length etc.

        • yeah, but it is useless if you want to place the device more than a couple of centimetres from your computer. 30cm just barely reaches the ground from the usb ports on the back of a computer.

I got a 1 meter ones but thats when hard drives are no longer recognised due to its length etc.

that's just a cable quality issue

    • how are you suppose to use such a short cable?

      It's all in the technique…

      • no, its all about the transfer speed

  • thanks…ordered one….I have often looked for one an extra one of these cables

    • Recieved mine today… It is a Seagate cable… at least the little plastic sleeve is a Seagate labeled sleeve…. That was a pleasant surprise. Thanks CPL

  • Just what I needed to replace my dying HDD cable, thanks CPL! :D
