Brent's Bits $2 Day Is Here Again!

1340

Hey folks, me again, the $2 day was so successful a couple of months ago I had to wait till I had good amounts of everything before posting it again. I have seven different things for you, all for $2 each.

Something that's super important (to me) if you are purchasing multiple items, can you please click the "Continue Shopping" link in the check out and keep shopping rather than checking out for each individual item, the reason for this is that Paypal not only charges a percentage of the transaction but also a per transaction fee and it would make it cheaper for me and also incidentally make it so you don't have to checkout multiple times. If you could do that that would be super.

The link in the title is to my eBay store, the links below are to the products directly:

There's plenty of other stuff available in the store as well, usb cables for the chargers and whatnot. Anyway, any questions, just put em here and I will do my best to answer :-)

Cheers and thanks again for your support,

Brent

    just for laugh:
50 WHITE CD DVD BD-R BDR Paper Sleeves with Clear Window for $3.75 is imo NOT a bargain XD

      ha ha that was funny

Nor were they advertised as a bargain, so I am not sure exactly what your point is there buddy. If you don't have anything constructive, or even pertinent to add to my threads, don't bother posting.

Seriously, if people want to comment on the actual bargain offered, that's one thing but if you are just trawling to find something to criticise, go somewhere else.

Picked up two of the 3.5mm cables. Thanks!

Just picked up some iPhone 5 lightening usb cables. Seem to be always losing mine. Good to be able to support an Australia Business on eBay.

those hdmi adapters are great for a lot of new tablets with the smaller micro hdmi port!
ps Brent, keep up the good deals man, you're giving even some of the cheaper china resellers a run for their money-i'd rather keep the money in Australia than o/s!

    • I do my best, I can't always be the cheapest but I do what I can

  • Just picked micro HDMI adapter, cheers

Just bought some stuff from you.
Because you seem like a nice person.
And you put up with a whole lot of shit.
May as well give you my business.
(and I also needed a 3.5mm cable anyway, so thanks!)

    • cheers, much appreciated

  • What's the use of those HDMI adaptors?
If I connect the HDMI cable from my tablet through the HDMI adaptors to TV, would the TV display the Tablet's content?

    • i am wondering that too?

  • Hey Brent.

I have a set of Turtlebeach headphones which connect via Optical (optical jack for PS3). Do you have anything to convert it to standard 3.5mm jack?

    • nope, sorry

Nothing for me from this sale, but the next time you have Micro USB cables, I'll be on it (the longer the better…that's what she said, yadda yadda yadda)

    • +1

I'm looking into longer stuff now

Just bought two USB chargers from you. I really don't need them, but bought it just to support you.

    • absolutely terrible, I wouldn't even give one to my worst enemy

      /sarcasm

  • OP, just to confirm whether the headphone splitter will work with Samsung Galaxy Note tablet?

    • will work with any 3.5mm plug so no reason it shouldn't

      • OP, is it too late to buy this splitter at the $2 price? Didn't know expiry was 8.50am, thinking its whole of 22/4. Thanks.

        • sorry mate, it was a $2 day, it went from about midnight Saturday (a bit later) and was supposed to turn off at about the same time 24 hours later, I fell asleep so I finished it up when I woke up :-) Sorry about that

  • Thanks folks, $2 day is over now :-)

    • It's not letting me mark it as expired, have submitted the issue to the mods

Just to keep everyone posted, orders made before midday yesterday should be going out in today's post. Anything after midday will be tomorrow. I got well and truly OzBargained (not unexpected but this $2 day was much bigger than any of the other specials I have done in the past at about 700 orders) so a small bit of patience would be much appreciated.

You will get your email from eBay telling you when your order has been packaged and posted.

      Cheers and thanks again :-)

  • Everything is sticky…

Ah, OK, need to figure something else out then so that everything stays flat

  • Hey Brent you posted two orders (seven items) for me on the 24th of April and they haven't arrived yet. Double checked and postage details are correct. Have you been having any issues with AusPost?

    • I always have issues with Australia Post.

Typically they will take 2-5 business days to deliver. Often enough up to 10 business days and I have had some things take a month to arrive (usually after I have re-sent an order).

People (and I am not specifically talking about yourself) don't realise that Australia Post has very little responsibility or liability for the regular post being delivered or lost and in fact that regular post doesn't have a guaranteed delivery time.

Having said that, most stuff gets through fine, some takes a bit longer and 1-2% just never arrives.

    • Same for me, marked as posted on 24th of April. Haven't received anything.

      • Received a day after I just made the post. Thanks brentsbits

      • I received mine today. The problem is the seller has not paid the correct postage for the items. Mine was in a normal envelope with a 60c stamp. A 60c stamp only covers letters up to 5mm thick. It had a big "Postage Underpaid" stamp on it and the envelope was ripped and repaired with sticky tape. I'm not really complaining as I couldn't really understand how the Aussie seller was offering such a good deal but it makes sense now I see the method of postage.

Brent, I noticed you put a your name and address on the back of the envelope. I would expect a massive bill coming your way from Australia Post. They normally deliver in good faith and then send you the bill. I bet they had fun sorting through the post box you dumped them all in, sounds like there would have been a tonne of underpaid mail. You better pray they don't slap on a admin fee for each item.
