      ooops you are correct, it was mentioned in that deal (which I hadn't looked at because it was slightly above my budget).

      Well I bought two this afternoon, one from Burwood NSW & one from George St Sydney store.

      I think there's some in the north west (Parra, Carlingford that-a-way)

      Thanks but typing the postcode 2000,3000,4000 etc will only give the stock of the CBD & surrounding stores.

      The stock I found was in the suburbs so a bit hard to do the search…There are plenty of Dick Smiths away from the CBD.

    [vic] Bendigo is marked as low stock. Thats the closest place to me, in melbourne.
    I could call up my relative, get them to pick one up in the morning, drive the 4 hours there and back to visit them and pick it up… but I am already in my pajamas.

      Just look out with this one. I did the same thing and the picture quality was great, but they didn't give their cheaper models any anti-reflection coating whatsoever, so it was unusable in the day time. I had to sell it.

      Currently only the top of the line 8000 model has anti-glare in the plasma range (in Aust).

        Well, this is true, but my Sony CRT TV has a reflective glass screen (all CRTs do) and I've never had any issues with it.

    Guys I think Officeworks can make special orders for this tv, just asked, since they have this brand in store for other stuff, they have relationship with samsung supplier, they can order it in, just not sure if price beat would be included, if anyone wants to try.

THE LADY IN SHOP HELPED ME TO CONTACT OTHER SHOPS IN NSW AND FOUND THERE ARE TWO LEFT IN NOWRA SHOP DOWN AT SOUTHERN COAST SO I DROVE DOWN TODAY AND BOUGHT THE VERY LAST BRAND NEW ONE…. THERE IS ONE DISPLAY ONE LEFT AT THE SHOP AND IT LOOKS ALRIGHT…. FYI THERE ARE THREE LEFT IN CANBERRA CENTRE DSE, ONE DISPLAY AND TWO BRAND NEW…. SO FOR THE SERIOUS BARGAIN HUNTERS, MAKE YOURSELF A DAY TRIP TO THE CAPITAL CITY AND YOU WILL FIND WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR….BUT PLEASE HURRY….
