Presumably it means calls to the same network, such as Three to Three calls.

Deal doesn't sound too enticing since everyone can just pay $5 extra for an ALDImobile which has unlimited talk and text, 5gb data, Telstra Network and no contracts either.

I believe that the VF $30 contract only includes 200MB of data.
However, VF 3G contract customers MAY get 4G in the future.
ALDImobile customers only get 3G.
Well, the only reason would be you get a free phone. Otherwise vaya with 4g is better.
I'm not going to sign up, but just wondering - what do you mean 'on-net' calls? Sounds like sales spiel to me.
