  Seen this set and the picture is rubbish. The only Sonys with even a half decent picture are the more expensive HX models, but even they are bad compared to plasmas. I'd go with a Samsung or Panasonic plasma.

  Agreed on the PQ issue, but the price is right for what it is. And the HX models, imo are better than all but the series 8 Samsung LEDs which are more expensive - and around the $1500-2500 mark…

  Also, I'm not a plasma person. Each to their own but for the money, this is great buying for a 55" LED TV.
