        Yeah, you place the phone on the ground under your face and it senses every time you do a pushup. I've seen a huge improvement in the amount i can do at once and i've only been doing it for a week (although i've been doing it everyday instead of every 2nd day)

      download the free runtastic PUSHUPS app, not the pro app. then in the free app, do NOT click "go pro", instead go in to settings, scroll down to find "promotion code", and type in "APPOFTHEDAY", which I think needs to be in caps.

        So you have to keep the app on your device in order to have the Pro features (ie, you don't get the Pro app associated with your Google Play account) right? :-(

          Yes you need to create a Runtastic account as well and then log in. I entered the code via Settings. Then you have to restart the app.

          If you still see all the "Go Pro" crap displaying the app hasn't restarted (I restarted my phone and it then it seemed to the Pro version, but they still encourage you to buy the Pro apps on one page).

          If you remove the app from your phone you will lose the Pro features me thinks (bit like the time limited giveawayoftheday.com for PC apps). Shame they don't want to give us the proper Pro app so we can reinstall at a later date. Oh well hope it's worth all the steps.

          download the 'app of the day' app and it has the correct link inside. I would link here but play store is blocked at work.

          on my phone the settings was inside the three dots on the top right inside the runtastic pushups app.

    Seems like a decent app for the health conscious - only for pushups though. They have other (non-free) apps catering for pullups, situps etc it seems.

    Its very easy to do pushups with this app, just move the phone with your hand towards your face and away as many times as you can. Very good for your biceps and triceps.

    Beware. After I did these steps, I go to the website where they told me my gold trial membership ends in 14 days and I should upgrade for some fee…I don't know how annoying this will be once the 14 days are over. But I have a feeling it will be nagging me to pay after 14 days even with this "PRO" upgrade.

      the app and the 'gold' membership are two separate things. The 'gold' bit is in relation to the membership of the website….

      shows the different memberships.
      The website supposedly works with all the runtastic apps

    This is kind of misleading, because you never get the pro version. U get the trial version and u are able to upgrade it to the pro version for the current version. In the future when you update the installed version (trial) the promotion code no longer works.
