      When you check in at the service desk they will offer you something like a bottle of wine, cheese platter, fruit bowl etc.

    Hi, Just wondering if anyone has tried booking and checked their membership if it is a legit Platinum membership? Bcoz previously with the Accor Hotel Platinum Club membership link on Ozbargain didn't quite work. Tried booking and checked my Accor Platinum membership and they said it's not approved due to getting it from an online thread.

    So yea, just wondering if this membership offer has been used and worked?

          Have you tried a different browser?

          You also need to make sure you've filled out/select all the fields required & try a different username as the one you've chosen might have been taken.

    Got a platinum - thanks OP.
    My first stay I booked ages ago is 3 nights in Rydges Sydney - August. Then does platinum kick in ?
    coz local experience (Sydney) is a jet boat ride from Darling Harbour.

    Perhaps I should stay elsewhere first (ie home town) for 1 night as my 1st stay.

      Since this a new account, you need to complete a stay with a GHA hotel first.

        Might have to stay 1night mid-week wotif locally, so I get the room upgrade and late check out and jetboat ride with my Sydney 3 night Aug w/e.
        OzB tip#241 spend a little to get a lot !

          Normally wotif rates don't qualify or credit to reward programs. They're usually limited to direct bookings through the hotel's or in the program's website. Should check with the hotel if the wotif rate will credit.

          Recognition of status on these rates is something else though, they might not count to your qualification nights but some programs still recognise the benefits. Something I'm trying to check atm.

        Do you this for a fact with GHA? Because I know that with other hotel chains this isn't the case as a lot of the rates published on websites like Wotif, HotelClub, etc are not eligible for credit to hotel programs.
