DEALS DIRECT 50% off + FREE SHIPPING ALL Homewares, Beauty & Grocery (INCLUDING SALE!)

3360

THIS IS INSANE!!!! I just spent $350 on items I don't need because the bargains are HUGE! EVERY SINGLE ITEM is 50% off (and if it was on sale, 50% off the sale price) + FREE SHIPPING, in the above 3 categories.

Excuse my use of capitals but I am super excited, this has got to be the deal of the year!!!

I could post some particular deals here but there are too many to list!!! The 50% off and free shipping applies to the SUPERMARKET, HEALTH & BEAUTY and HOMEWARES categories. I note that some of the Supermarket items aren't 50% off the already reduced price (still bloody good prices though), but everything in the other 2 categories is 50% off the prices that they were this morning!

If it says 'Half Price Shipping', it will be free shipping when added to your cart as long as it's from one of the above 3 categories.

Remember to use Qwibble or another site for a cashback (4% on Qwibble), and for some people the coupon code BUYME10 will give an additional 10% off (this works for some and not others, there doesn't seem to be a rule to it - it doesn't work for me unfortunately!)

    http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/wenger-document-case/

    • You reckon the 10 year warranty will be honoured by Wenger on the luggage? I'm thinking of buying, but Wenger doesn't seem to range locally, so these would be imports and Deals Direct aren't authorised resellers…

      • I bought a wenger backpack 5yrs ago in a store here, so should be fine. Quality is great.

      • Wenger is travelgoods and they have an office in Sydney. They're pretty good with warranties.

    • ALL WENGERS PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN SOLD OUT.

        • Guess it's a good time to go Christmas shopping. Camel waterbottles for the fam bam. Check.

        • Yep, got a couple of them. Also managed to get COMEBACK10 coupon code to work with my order

        • I can't add this to cart

        • It wouldn't work for me initially, but then I read a tip somewhere that says leave $150 sitting in cart for a while, don't go to checkout, click continue shopping. From homepage, go to checkout. Complete all details then enter coupon. See if it works. I told some friends about it, it also didn't work for them.

I just opened an account for my Mum, the coupon would not work in Chrome, but worked in IE. Who knows, if you really want the discount, I think some patience is required as it is very hit and miss. From stuffing around with the cart, I noticed the order has to be $150 or above

    • Sold out? Cannot add to cart :-(

Just had to laugh thinking about my mailman's face as he deliveres a 3-piece cookware set, 3-piece luggage set, a park bench, convection cooker, and whatever else in the coming week :)

    • LOL- too funny ;)

    • +1

the courier person who deliver to my place today had deliver 15 items from dealsdirect. it took him 10 min to find n collect then scanned. he goes is it ur b'day. lol

      • +22

Our mailman recognises and greets us in the shopping centre. How sad is that?

      • +2

Don't they get paid by parcel. Big grin. My dogs think the post guy is part of our family.

        • +1

My dogs think the post guy is a tasty breakfast. Suffice to say the posty won't come down my drive……

    • +6

Just had to laugh, thinking about the mailman not bothering anymore and just putting a card in your mailbox so you gotta go pick up all the items lol :P

      • +1

Yeah that happens to me, now got 3 packages sitting in their sydney depot…they didnt even bothered delivering just scanned straight into the depot according to the parcel tracking status…

    • was the bench free shipping?? coming up $11 for me :(

    • Does it come in pi… Oh, perfect!

    • Just received this today and I've concluded that it's worthless.

Claims to have an accuracy of 1g.

      Weighed my Nexus 4 - showed 105grams. It's actually 139g. 24% off.

Tried 2 other electronic devices - off by 21% and 22%.

It always underestimating the weight too. Only way I can see this working is by taking that 22% into account every time.

What a useless thing; especially for $13.

      • you need to place the scale on a flat concrete surface in order to have an accurate reading.

        • +2

Really? I was trying it on a waterbed floating in the middle of the ocean-no, of course I used a hard, flat surface.

It's just bloody inaccurate. Even my $5 one from eBay fared better. MUCH better. That is, until the battery coils rusted and it stopped working.

        • +1

I've got a similar one in black. It's a heap of junk and the tare/on button doesn't work 9/10 times.

  • Cheap compatible coffee pods - 20 cents each.
    http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/5-10pk-baristacino-dark-roast-…

    • I thought about these, but reviews dont look real positive for genuine nespresso machines

      • But a positive review for use with the Kmart coffee machine which I have. For $10 I thought I'd give it a go :)

        • +6

With my ozbargain-ness, went for the Nespresso Pixie for a total of $22 expenditure. The maths was: buy the Nespresso Pixie pack from Good Guys for $182, got $60 cash back, and sold the frother for $100 on Gumtree. It was a long road from the initial $182 outlay, but well worth it. Also came with 16 pods!

        • +1

The force is strong in you Johnno!

    • I bought them last week as a cheaper back up alternative to the supermarket kind. I'm GOING to make them fit into my genuine Nespresso machine.

  • -5

Looks like a lot of garbage too me. As for the Mach 3 carts you save even more if you buy a German made Merkur safety razor with blades(sample packs is the best for newbs).

    • -2

Agreed. Everyone just gets on the bandwagon for cheap crap they don't need.

  • For some reasons, i start hating to come here because I keep buying stuff that I don't really need :P

  • +1

Bloody hell - just spent over $150+ on useless crap I don't need without even trying, and thats even with some of the good stuff sold out.

Doesn't make much sense considering they seem to drop ship a lot of their crap - it'd be a different story if they were clearing out their own warehouse full of crap ?!

    • That amazing drop shipping for Australia, two day (on the second morning) shipping is insane.

  • +1

DD recently threw a lot of good deals, what happened to it?

    Bought:

    12 x 2pk Size D Duracell Alkaline Batteries $22.48
CamelBak Groove Portable Filtration System Water Bottle $7.97
Titan Carbon Lite 3pc Set - Burnt Orange $199.97
    Raco 2pk Covered Skillet Set 20cm and 26cm $24.97
    Gillette Mach3 Shaver Cartridges - 2 x Pack of 12 (24 cartridges)$22.00

    Holy-Crap…. I didn't even need anything particularly.

    • Am interested in the Titan lite 3 pc set but can't find any reviews online. Also, do you know what's the weight of the bags?

      • Yeah I'm looking at them too as I'd like some decent suitcases rather than the cheapies from Craxy Clarks where the handles break off :P I can't find any actual reviews but I did find weights: Dimensions & Weights
        Large - 76h x 47w x 29d - 4.4kg
        Med - 68h x 42w x 24d - 3.6kg
        Small - 57h x 35w x 20d - 2.9kg

I saw prices for these ftom $340 up to well over $700.

        • Thanks for the weights. It's not as lite as they claim it to be then, esp for the small bag.

  • Has it occurred to anybody else that this might be a pricing error?

The front page displays links to the '50% off shipping' for home wares, supermarket deals, health and beauty yet items within that category are 50% off instead. They also include free shipping.

You know the old saying about a deal that's too good to be true.

    • +4

Look out - all us professionals might be out to send poor Gerry Direct broke ;) Nah - the front page banner states 50% OFF + FREE SHIPPING, so I think we'll be OK.
