  • lol was just about to post this up and someone beat me by 18seconds

iphone 5 white for 719 is pretty good

    • +5

iPhone 5 in white is probably the best phone on the planet, and for $719 massive bargain. I could not think of any other way to spend my hard earned than on an iPhone 5 for $719

Are you being sarcastic? I hope so….

        • I am assuming sarcastic. I have and iPhone 5 and it is a heap of Sh..
May be a good deal for an average phone or the best Apple phone (But even 4S has less bugs).

          Got to love fanboys.

        • i guess i got the luck of the draw, i bought my iphone 5 from kogan when it was first released and i havent had an issues with it at all, on the other hand i've had mates who've had problems getting it to work on various occasions and complain about it all the time

i guess the secret is to not update your IOS :P

        • +3

YES! I like bargains, and bargains are against Apple's core business strategy

      • I know what you did there

  • Damn! I bought a new phone at 11pm last night and paid $19 shipping.

send them an email or call them up,

      they are normally quite helpful.

last time, I had a price drop and they gave me credit back.

    • Ha - same. Gonna email them and see what they can do - made sure to say I'd be willing to accept store credit ;)

      • Let us know how you go.

Please don't hesitate to contact us should you need any further

      Must. Not.

bought Nexus 10, probably don't need it.

      • +3

Send it to me, I'll pay for the shipping ;-)

        • thanks for the offer. When I said I probably don't need it, because I already have 2 ipads. Just want to try a tablet with flash capability.

        • You might be disappointed, unless you install a browser such as Dolphin or Firefox and manually add the Flash .apk - Adobe dropped support of Flash for Mobile devices last year. But as I've briefly mentioned it can be still setup & used: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774336

  • Drats I was about to post this but you beat me to it. I need to be quicker next time :-(

  • LOL I have had a Kogan 27" LCD monitor in my cart for the past few days, waiting for their next free shipping deal…

But then decided last night to pay 100 bucks more to get the Dell instead… however if this had been posted before 8PM last night I would have probably chosen the Kogan.

Ahh well, I am more confident in the Dell Ultrasharp, and it has 2yrs extra warranty. Still, free shipping makes the Kogan a great buy.

  • have they increased prices??

  • +6

Presumably this deal is to distract everybody from the price gouge just announced for the mobile phones.

  • Only for in stock items, so still $28 or so for the 42" Agora Android TV…

  • I want to purchase the Kogan 55" Borderless LCD TV but it is stining me $138 for delivery to Tom Price 6751.

    • .

    • No free delivery on pre-orders. This one isn't available until 29 August.

  • Can you pay with Paypal? I only get the options of paying with Visa or MC.

    • +1

Just called to see if I could use Amex or Paypal to purchase a camera. From my understanding Paypal is not available on any purchases and Amex is not available on cameras (and possibly other items).

      • Thanks spiff. Guess it will have to be Visa.

        • +1

Maybe they should remove the "we accept PayPal" sign they have on the payment options. Surely PayPal take exception to people using their pictures for sales illegitimately.

Is it really free shipping. It seems they have put the price up on certain items to compensate.
Review for this Agora Phone indicate that price was $149. Its rare to see prices actually going up on phone with time. Seems like they doing dirty trick on certain items like few retailers :(

"It’s $149 and that’s one of the cheapest smartphones you’ll find anywhere on the market and in picture comparisons and looking side by side it’s hard not to mistake it for being the almost twin sibling to the Samsung Galaxy Note.

  • excludes kogan mobile. sucks. i wanted to buy a sim without coughing up their ridiculous $4.99 shipping fee.

    • You might wish to check the revised pricing of Kogan Mobile…Aldi is now a better deal in most cases, and much more convenient.

      • i saw that :(
my plan was to buy a sim + access 365 and hold onto it until my red bull recharge expires next year. damn you kogan.

checked the aldi rates and it'd actually be $7 a month more expensive on the unlimited option.

        le sigh.

    Really a deal? Nah mate.

  • Kogan have my email address. Why didn't they email about free shipping!? [Sigh!]

So let me get this right… I was thinking about buying their $159 microwave. I am thinking of waiting for free shipping again. But are you guys saying they would have just added the ~$30 shipping to the price?

    • WTFRFM?!
      One-fifty-nine for a microwave?

Target have 15% off kitchen gear till closing time this evening:
      http://shop.target.com.au/search?site_search=microwave

      A few there under $100 including a 30l for $64.

Edit - just saw the one you referred to — convection/grill. Not bad!

      • Ha - changed your tune, eh? Yeah, I'm not sure how good it is. But after spending $1000 on a Panasonic, only to have it die after just four years (our last convection was a Sharp that lasted about 15 years), I'm seriously considering buying Kogan and not repairing the Panasonic. (The cheapest magnetron starts at $90, and goes up from there.)

        • Well sorta.

Then I checked a few reviews at productreview.com.au for the 25l version.
A few people had the glass turntable shatter as they forgot to remove it prior to using convection or combination mode.
          Not sure now.

Will probably dismantle our old one, ID the turntable motor to order a new one. Aside from that ours still works.

        • Hm… That's really weird. I've never seen a convection with a glass plate before. Only metal. Even in microwave mode!?

        • The glass turntable apparently…yeah!

Grilling or regular m/w use is fine, but convection or combo mode (m/w & conv) it will shatter.
Microwave output is a claimed 900W. Convection is over 2000W.

One guy complained and gave a low review as the manual doesn't explicitly warn about removing the turntable in combo mode, but does about convection mode. Kogan have the manual available to download but I didn't bother as I plan to fix ours.
Plus the free shipping ended at midnight and they want $41 to Tassie.
