    I got the email saying item was dispatched on 22nd Oct.

    I finally managed to chase them up TODAY as I have not received it. JB sends the item through TOLL who do not deliver to PO BOX, or in my case, Aus Post Parcel Locker. After several emails, JB sent me the tracking number for TOLL which should have been in the original email.

    I was forced to call up toll only to be told that its been sent back to JB TODAY. TOLL tried to contact JB several times to get my number but all dead end. Now I have to wait for the item to be returned to JB, and get them to send it out to a new address.

    This item should have been delivered 3 weeks ago.

        From memory only AusPost deliver to PO Box, so toll, startrack etc won't do it.

    The time you ordered doesn't seem to make any difference. Some have claimed to received theirs even though they ordered after me. I think they send out orders in bulk to certain locations to save on freight, so if you happen to be in an area that had lots of ordered then perhaps you'll receive yours before those people in areas that had little to no orders. I live in regional city, so probably the reason why I haven't received it yet.

        Received mind today. Just in time for my overseas trip next week. This is a nicely built piece of technology. Really impressed by Sony.

        Even more so by JB. They didn't need to honour this deal but they did. They didn't need to negotiate with Sony for more stock but they did. And finally, when they started despatching the units, they didn't need to send them with overnight delivery but they did. You guys rock. You, JB Hifi, are the beacon of customer service in this otherwise blindly profit margin driven retail industry. Hats off to you.

    The courier lost my delivery a couple weeks ago, contacted JB customer service supervisor and she has been great and sent out a replacement the following day.
    So thumbs up for JB honoring the advertised price and sending a replacement for lost shipment…

    FYI. I emailed JB hifi about my delivery address being a parcel locker and this was their reply:

    Your order was dispatched via Australia Post surface mail which comes without tracking unfortunately.
    Your order shipped yesterday so it will be on it's way to you.

    It was sent out on the 26th. So hopefully I'll get mine tomorrow.

    Btw, does anyone know if I can use a 5w USB wall adaptor to charge it or should I use the higher 10w USB wall charger from my iPad to charge it?

      It doesn't really matter how many watts the USB Charger is.
      As even if you use a 20W USB wall charger, it is usually determined by the device on how many Watts it draws.

      Max I'd go is use a 2.1A USB charger to charge it. Only way to know if it uses the full 2.1A is to do some tests between the charge times for a 1A and a 2.1A charger.

      The build quality of the Power Bank is awesome though, feels extremely solid.

        The manual that came with it says that the maximum current the unit can draw is 1A. So using a 2.1A wall charger might do more harm than good, depending on how the circuitry handles it.

          I believe Amp is 'drawn' not 'outputted'.
          Which is why they do not stick a HUGE sticker on 2.1A USB chargers saying 'Make sure your device accepts 2.1A or else you may damage your device'

          So it really just depends on the device if it is built to draw more amp or not.

          Voltage on the other hand is 'outputted', so you cannot use a 10V charger on a 5V device.

          Yes, Iplau, you are right. I stand corrected. Using a 2.1A wall charger should not cause any harm to the unit.

          However, a 2.1A wall charger will also not help it charge any faster than a 1A one, if 1A is all it can draw.
