    Insane prices for the Razer keyboards.

    Kind of wishing I didn't pick up the Logitech G710+ keyboard deal a month or so back. It's a great keyboard and a very good deal, but I could have saved even more getting the Razer 2013 expert mechanical and increased my imaginary ozbargain points.

    How does the deals on the mice fair? I was thinking of a Gigabyte m6900 or something under $30, though the Razer Abyssus seems a bit too small for my hands.

      You save about $12 on the Abyssus, and $23-28 on the DAs? Not sure about the pricing on the 2013 version but the black edition is quite nice.

    Customer service is pretty pathetic.
    I been trying to place order all morning only to keep crashing at place order phase, once it crashes there you will need to re-enter all payment details which was getting really annoying.

    I rang the Paramatta store up to see if it was possible to come into the store and quote the coupon code and get the discount, the guy on the phone said yes that fine. I confirmed with him again that if I came in, I would get the $30 off since their website is pretty much sh*t to place any order and he said yes thats fine come in. I even asked him to check the stock and he said they had plenty.

    I went into the store and asked for the Blackwidow Expert Mechanical and with the quoted the coupon code but they said they can't honor the discount because I did not place it online..
    I said I just rang earlier to confirm this and they said I had misunderstood and that I needed to place an online order and could only come pick it up and get the discount then.

    I thought that was really pathetic service of them. Still trying to place online order to no luck.

        1, The item was not out of stock because I rang 15mins before coming in. The Paramatta employee said there had some in stock and I was able to come in and mention FRENZY$30 to get the discount.
        2, You did not honor the deal in store because the store people all confirmed that we can ONLY PLACE ONLINE ORDER to come and pick up. When I said I just rang the Paramatta store before, all them said they did not speak to anyone regarding this.

        You might want to check with your Paramatta branch to get the story right and be consistent with your business model.

        This is wasting a LOT of people's time.

      Make sure there are no spaces when you enter the code, I had that problem before and it didn't work. If you are copy and pasting from this page, you surely will copy an empty space. Check and try again.

    Although I don't like razer after a few bad experiences (lycosa keyboard wearing out after just over a year, deathadder simply dying after about the same time), I would say their mechanical keyboards probably aren't too bad for that price.

    Because they're mechanical, they will definitely last longer than their standard keyboards (which are rubbish in my opinion). If you don't want a very, very clicky keyboard, though, don't get the cherry mx blue (most of these), go for brown or red (only the stealth is brown though, and still quite expensive - you could get better keyboards for $130).

    Just my 2c.

      Agreed but not only that, if you crash at the last stage of purchase order, the order gets cancelled. Your whole order is cancelled and you will have to go through the painful process again.

        Surely a cluster of servers hosted with one of the biggest hosted provider in the world is better than what is happening here at the moment with the timeout happening that often. Good way for a company to get bad reviews.

    Don't get the Razer Abyssus, i bought a genuine one for $10 of ebay (mirror edition) and itt was made of cheap plastic which turned into a puddle within 5 mins of use. And it doesnt have much features other than high dpi

    I accidently purchased 2 Death adders 2013 after trying to buy it for a few hours and having it say i have an empty cart every now and then. Pressing the button just became like nothing cause it just kept failing.

    I've sent an email to them about it but no reply yet. So dont worry guys, there will be atleast one death adder extra!
