    for anyone interested theres 3 STB's in my rubbish bin - put there today. if anyone still has a working analogue tv its clearly a beauty and worth trading in on a new low brand lcd 40" beauty.

      You need a STB for Xbox One if you want to loop TV through it and don't have foxtel or something similar. I bought a Bush unit from Big W for $38, does the job.

      Still only two old-school Grundig's on the go in my house. It might bother me if I was going from a 60-inch plasma in the lounge to the 66cm widescreen in the bedroom, but I'm not.

    What is the model number of this Bush STB? I can't find it on their website. I noticed it has a USB port, but can it record HDTV broadcasts? What formats can it play back? USB playback or recording isn't listed as a 'feature' but there's a USB icon in the photo.

    If it can record HDTV and play back MP4/MKV video, I'd buy six of them from you (I need a standard box for all my old-age relatives to use, it's an absolute nightmare trying to provide tech-support when they all use different boxes!) however there is no information provided on what formats the USB port supports.

      I bought one of these earlier in the year for the kitchen and haven't had any hassles, it does what it says & does it well! I would recommend it for the price definitely.
      I might even grab another & give it to a m8 just so i dont have to burn discs for him anymore!
