Was sent an email from Big W trying to rectify a boo boo with one of my previous purchases. Given it a few goes on different browsers and it looks like it's a universal code and it is apparently meant to expire at the end of the year.

Can't cover the cost of shipping but as mentioned in a previous thread, DVDs/Blurays goes for $5 for the first item and each additional DVD/Bluray is free I believe.

I opted for Dirty Dancing Blu-Ray for $11… for the missus… yes… missus…

      Have you tried closing and refreshing browser? It seems to be working fine still.

      You can only apply the code once, so if you remove an item (and the code), you'll have to reset your browser before you reapply the code.

      Use incognito mode and close browser if you've accidentally applied the voucher code in your previous checkout basket.

    Didn't go through for me the first time I tried it, actually charged me full price before I realised, so I cancelled that order. Did another with the same account, but the code can't be used twice, so I used another account I had with them and everything was fine this time.

      Had the problem as above - after removing an item, the code was also removed, and couldn't be used again. Used phone browser instead and it was fine :)

    I got this code in an email as well. The email specifically states that it's meant for the person that the email is sent to, as follows:

        Yep, ridiculous dates. I purchased Mr Potato Head Joker + Storm Trooper + TMNT mini figures (total $40 before discount code) and the collection date is the same. Lucky they're not intended for Christmas.

          Don't get your hopes up that those will actually be the dates either…my estimated delivery of 22nd-25th November was posted on the 15th and arrived on the 16th December…it took them 25 days to pack and post my order. On the flip side. Aust post only took 1 day to deliver it, which is great.

        Tropic Thunder is kind of expensive before this coupon to begin with from Big W though I recently bought that on a JB 2 for $20 deal with extra 20% off Blu-ray made it $8. This $10 off coupon makes it the same price as it was in store at JB.

    Placed one order for a Blu-ray, and then created another order for Heavy Rain in Chrome Incognito mode, both using the coupon. Nice!

    Took me a while to figure out why placing two separate orders was cheaper than combining postage with a single order (it may be "well, duh" to most, but it's been along day for me so …)

    I'm having troubles. Every time I apply the code under promotional vouchers it reduces the price by $10 but when I click proceed to checkout it redirects back to the front Big W page and resets back to full price when I go back to the cart.

    I note that Cash Rewards are paying cashback of 4%. Pay with a wish card (bought from the RAC or Entertainment Book) and bring the price down by another 5%.

      FYI to fix your problem, go to IE options then advanced and in the Reset Internet Explorer settings click reset ( tick all boxes to delete everything )

      Close and reopen IE and try again.. it should be fine now.

      Yes you will need to spend $75+ to get free postage. You can choose Click & Collect (minimum $40 spend) but you'll need to wait until Mid Jan to collect it from store…

          If i take a wild guess, it would be because BigW move/transport/order stocks between stores to mitigate the availability of their products (in case most people click/pickup from CBD store for example). So if you order, they will probably look at all the store's stock levels to make sure they distribute them correctly and that system could be running on a monthly schedule.

    Heavy Rain was sold out so ended up just buying Halo Combat evolved.
    Voucher worked fine. $18.88 with $5 delivery then $10 Off come to a TOTAL $13.88 delivered but delivery wont occur until 7th Jan or soon after
