    where's the deal?

    • Myer's website is still down, so I guess this is currently in-store only. :P

what does the 15 off 75 mean? is that a creative way to say 20% off to distract attention from their abysmal sale?

i find it hard to believe there might be any real deals at myer. had a look at tv section today and everything was ridiculously overpriced even 20% off would still be expensive

        • +1

Not really- means if you spend up to $149 you get $15 off.

        • So lets say a TV costs $500.
          $500/ 75 = 6.
          6 X $15 = 90.

          So you end up paying $500 - $90 = $410.
If you have discounted vouchers, even cheaper.
ING paywave, why not .. another 5%
          Price Match .. even better

        • +2

$15 off every $75, which unless you spend an exact multiple of $75, your discount will be less than 20% — for instance if you spend $150, you'll get $30 off (20% off), but if you spend $149 your discount will only be $15 (~10% off). So yeah, Myer are being a little creative with this discount.

i find it hard to believe there might be any real deals at myer.

Generally the only things I purchase at Myer are pricematched to other stores, and bought using discounted gift cards. ;)

        • +1

I dont believe you can Price Match and use this deal together. Well Myer Adelaide wouldnt.

        • how consistent is myer pricematch? do they PM online stores?

        • The discount comes on automatically through their system. And would depend on the sale rep

        • Pays to shop around at Myer for TVs - they have the panasonic 65 VT60 (top of the range for Aus) for $2999 advertised reduced from $3999 - that was the best price I could find. The ST version could be had for 20% of making it $2079 before you haggle. There are pretty good prices - the best I had seen advertised on the 65 inch ST60 was $1999 + delivery and was able to better this at Myers.

If you could convince someone to stack the deal on the VT of $2999 plus the 15 off 75 you will truly have a good deal.

        • You are correct - you cannot price match AND use other offers. When the site decides to come back up, you'll note it in the T&Cs (I checked it the other week on an item - it's one or the other).

Still down? Wow, heads will roll.

        • I think the $15 off every $75 deal is only in-store.

David Jones and other online department stores must be over the moon.

Pretty sure myer does not accept westfield gift cards.

      They do proof

      hamza23 4 hours 3 min ago

Mine worked today in store :) Scanned it no problems.

The lady also mentioned to me that Myer now accept Westfield gift cards starting today (the ones in Westfield), got rid of that as well from the other Scoopon deal :)

      • Well excuse me I did not know that as of yesterday they now accept it. Thank you so much.

  • Does it apply to Dyson vacuums?

    • yes, it is considered FLOOR & GARMENT CARE

      And not in exclusions

Excludes Bamix, Clarisonic, KitchenAid, Magimix, no!no!, Vitamix, Skin Physics, Stop & Pose, Bugatti, Dualit and Miele microwaves & coffee machines

They have DC59 animal for $549, this deal makes it $444 which is quite a good price.

        • Where did you see they have the DC59 for $549?

        • Saw it today in store. And it's in their catalogue:
          http://images.lasoomedia1.com.au/imageicon/myr/prod/j0055274…

        • not bad at all, the previous David Jones deal was $427 with the Amex card
but this doesn't even need any Amex card to be registered!

        • Conditions of $15 off each $75 states: excludes other offers & may exclude additional discount off catalogue prices? I enquired yesterday when they had 20% off electrical and myer said only off RRP. If someone finds out, can you post answer?

        • Went to myer this morning, you are right. It's off RRP
DC59 animal is $529 with this offer.

        • +1

Thanks for ur reply, I thought it would of been too good to be true

        • +1

          Confirmed in ACT, no deal.

        • +1

I ended up buying DC44 animal from Masters for $314. (price matched Bing Lee)
Paid with my ING card, which brings it to under $300

What a farce…they have advertised a nespresso coffee machine in the ad for small appliances boldly listing $15 off for every $75 and listed coffee machines in exclusions

    • I read it as excluding Miele microwaves and coffee machines, not all coffee machines.

  • +1

Lego! 33% off each if you buy 3 in 1 transaction. Time to stock up for birthdays :)

Slightly better than the deal they had in store yesterday - buy one get the second toy 60% off.

  • Does anyone know if Myer stock Bose QC20 headphones?

The exclusions list a bunch of Bose stuff, but not the headphones, would be a good deal if they do stock them (but of course I can't check with the website down).

    • +1

Some large city Myer stores do stock Bose headphones, like Myer Sydney city definitely does.

  • This is interesting if they'll price match on tvs as others have mentioned.

Just wondering - if you price match and then pay with 28 degrees would price match guarantee still be applicable? Guess issue with that is Myer unlikely to reduce cost much in 6 months… may be better off getting from JB / Dick Smith / HN :S

  • Damn, disappointed I missed this… any word on what their latest offers are? Hopefully something similar to the 15off75 for small appliances.
