looks pretty good! Although stand alone it integrates with Lightroom and others so I'll get use out of it. That Matt guy endorsing it is fairly well known. Nuts RAM requirement considering LR only requires 2Gb

windows 8 runs better than xp on older machines
that's very true, but Windows 8\8.1 need at least 4Gb of RAM to run smoothly with Photoshop\Video\CAD\Rendering apps running.

After installing this today my PC this evening had two pop up boxes. One for Winzip updater (158mb installed!) and a PC optimiser of some sort. Malware obviously that I suspect was installed with this software.

Pretty sure this isn't meant to be a Photoshop replacement. It looks to pretty much be add on filters. More like an advanced instagram.

Downloaded, registered, and tried a few filters and this is a very professional looking app. I've started digital photography 2 years ago and have been avoiding post processing of pictures. Reslo, I didn't get any pop-up for Winzip nor PC Optimiser. Note that Winzip updater for 158MB is very dubious. I suggest you uninstall that one and scan your PC for virus and malwares.

The dynamic contrast feature is impressive, and i'll probably use it a bit for landscapes. I'm just not comfortable with the close to 400mb files it imports back to Lightroom!
