Which games are unplayable? Can't you just use an external USB stick or install your own drive in a third-party caddy?
As far as I know, you can't play Battlefield 4 on a 4gb 360. The game won't let you install on USB stick either.
Halo Reach co-op wasn't allowed without a hard drive.
CoD MW3 online wasn't playable without a hard drive.

You cannot play NFS rivals on the 4gb using a usb stick, it requires a hard drive.

Judging by the picture this must be the slightly older version with 2 USB ports instead of 1.
