    Usually I hate hosting deals, they are usually 2-bit operations just starting up and overselling like crazy. VentraIP is good. That said if anyone knows how to hide hosting deals let me know!

    they really jacked up the .com.au domain prices recently. they used to be under $20 and now they are $25. i will be transferring away mine from ventra when they come up for renewal this month

      Just transfer to Zuver (VentraIP's budget provider.) Really simple transfer process and .com.au domains are $20 per 2 years just like VentraIP used to be.

      Hi mattgal. I don't think we "jacked the price up" at all. It went from $19.95 to $24.95 and we are still the best value registrar around. Many other registrars do not include the free services that we do, like DNS hosting, URL and email forwarding, and not to mention customer service and support.

      There are some others around who may be "cheaper" but they are not auDA accredited registrars and if they're selling at below cost well, you know how long that's going to last for.

      Our $19.95 price was a promotional price from a sale just over a year ago that stuck for a little while and we simply reverted back to what was our original price. Much like the sale that is on this weekend we will have the $19.95 price from time to time, but if you have several domains you may want to look at our wholesale division because their price is even cheaper than the $19.95 price! :)

      Otherwise Zuver's price is staying at $20 for 2 years so you are free to move them there.

    It's a one off deal, but they say you can prepay up to 3 years at this price if you want to.
