@OzB mods/admins if you wish to PM me I can give you direct links and reports of what happened and why they should be banned from OzB.

Thanks for the treats via PM again John, showing you're very mature for a business owner ;)

@storyteller — how about you raise the issue via TWAM? I have read about your story on Whirlpool, but that was almost 3 years ago. I have experienced quite a few unfortunate hosting myself including some that post their offers here, but I don't hold grudge against those especially the incidents were a few years ago.

normally I'd let it go but it dragged out for months, after that thread it continued for sometime. Threatening me to remove the posts on whirlpool, consistently spamming my email inbox.

All he/exigent/John had to do was resolve the matter in the support ticket, I went down the correct path of support after what happened but he decided to lie about it.

I stand by what I said, and even still getting abuse on OzB private messages about it. If I manage to help somebody by not making a mistake buying services from them I feel it has been worthwhile going out of my way to do so.

Sure you are entitled to your opinion and if you think you are doing the fellow community members a service by posting a warning here — so be it. I don't want to be the judge here neither can I offer my recent experience with Exigent (I last dealt with them when they were still HostMyWebsite). Just that in the hosting space 3 years do make a lot of differences.

Btw you can block people in PM now if it is bothering you.

  • i'm with Exigent … pretty happy with them. Not to much downtime, though in the past this happened.
