Myer $20 and $10 OFF Coupon Voucher (Min $10 Spend)

2360

MOD: Myer Customer Service has adviced this afternoon that this offer was initially sent out only to those who are invited, i.e. targetted offer. However the code appears to be redeemable by many, but no guarantee that it would continue to work. Due to the nature of this offer, it's marked as EXPIRED, but not removed because (1) it has worked for some so not strictly a targeted offer (2) there are already 3 pages of discussions on it. However please do not link to removed vouchers/bar codes and please DO NOT tamper with the code as it would be considered as fraud.

Update: Myer have asked the deal to be removed. It's marked as expired, all links will be removed that direct to any coupon offering a discount.

Received an e-mail from Myer for $10 off in-store purchase (Minimum $10 spend, so total would come to zero) after checking the link, I figured it was a generic link that must have been sent to all e-mails and wasn't unique at all. I changed one digit on the end, and found their are several codes ($10, $20) with minimum $10.00 spends, but there are 2-3 different $20 codes that have different terms and conditions on what can be bought.

The list of exclusion of what not to by seems to be a very very, very long list. Figure out something that isn't included, and you've got you're self 3 weeks of purchasing $20 items for free :)

    • Dyson DC59 Animal $465 odd with the 20% above?

    • Can you please share the 20% off ones to Dropbox mate… I was lazy to take a screenshot when u posted thanks

  • So all codes doesn't work at cannington carousel ? :( just about heading there

    • May be should try tremell's method. I didn't go back and try his method after failed for the first few times. Good luck!
By the way, if you're with virgin mobile, make sure you have the code ready as the Internet is not moving in carousel.

      • Tried in Forrest Chase Myer. Work!

  • None of my codes worked either, it wouldn't scan. And if they enter the barcode still won't work because they are entering as gift card. Just tell them to follow the instructions under the barcode on the voucher. They have to manually apply the $20 off

  • can i use for crumpler macbook sleeve

    • +1

The exclusions are written in text if you open the voucher link so just control (or command) F and search for the brand to see if it is excluded. Crumpler didn't appear in my search but I only checked one of the vouchers.

  • Can I use the voucher for online purchasing?

    • No. In store purchases only.

  • I was able to use the 3 $20 vouchers. Did do three transactions though.

  • +1

Just wonder if there is anybody out there tried from 0000 to 9999 for the Web page url? If combination of alphabets and digits are being tried together then that will certainly be the ozbargainer of the year!

  • None of the $20 vouchers working at Northland, Vic. Couldn't be bothered trying the $10 vouchers. The girls just wanted to go home…

  • Cool deal. Just got some brand name kids clothes for super cheap price plus CK tee for $20. The clothes are essential items for one winter.

  • Why some myer accept some not, sigh, anyone tried garden city Perth?

    • Work in the city. I guess it's all depend on the staff who had to know the right way to do this?

    • +1

If they're not reading the T&Cs, I assume they're not following the instructions.

  • -4

Can u share the best easiest way to put through this vouchers? In case the myer staff not sure what's going on. And this can be use by anyone with myer one card ya? Coz I didn't actually eceive the voucher , I just print from here.

  • +1

My partner and I used this a total of 6 times. Thank you OP. Used at Liverpool, NSW for 4x 34.95 Van Heusen shirts, 30.00 bonds jumper and 89.00 hush puppies! For extra abuse just go to different Myer stores and spam Myer one cards…as I signed up for Myer One today and they did not check or register anything!

    • +3

Six times is surely nothing more than abuse. Retail is already in crisis and jobs are being off-shored seemingly every week.

Do you really feel proud of your actions in abusing this six times?

      • +7

Not really my problem. Myer is worth billions of dollars…maybe its part of their marketing strategy.

      • You're trolling right?
        From their FY13 results:
Operating profit 41.7% (up 40 basis points)
        Total Sales: $3144.9 million(up 0.8%)
Net profit after tax: $127.2 million

        • +3

          Market capital 1.3bn.

  • Used 3 times separately at Macquarie Park Myer. They had to do it manually but they accepted it. Thanks OP. Saved $60!

  • +3

I can't believe my toddler is still sleeping. Jeez I hope this is still available tomorrow morning.

  • +2

The lady who served me did a $20 and a $10 for my first transaction of photo albums, then I went back later and a different girl was there, and use the $20, $20 and $10 for more photo albums. I got $180 worth of albums (as they were 40% off) for only $8! =D

I don't think these expire do they?

    • I thought the minimum spend after discount is $10? How did you pay $8 all up? Were the clerks dumb and not following instructions?

      • The minimum purchase is 10 isn't it?? So as long as the item is above 10 you can use the voucher. Cause if it's under 10 the voucher won't work.

I just showed them the barcode on my phone and they entered it in and it worked. They didn't ask to see anything else.

  • +3

Myers must seriously have the worst IT/IS personnel imaginable.

First the stuff-ups with the website and now these offers are seemingly available to all and aren't tied to individual customers.

How do they screen their professional employees?

  • Scored a Parker pen for $7 with 1 voucher

    Is this not fraud?

  • Do Myer sell Google Play store cards? I don't see those on the excluded list. Unless they are counted as a "Gift Card".

    • +1

Google Play store called them "Google Play gift cards".

  • Wow, just wow! Went shopping today but only saw this after we got back!
Going to the shops tomorrow, might see if i can combine the 10% off toys promo with one of the $20 vouchers and get my son an extra bday present for his 7th bday. Thanks heaps op!

  • Confirmed no
    MyerOne card needed.
Pair of kids track pants and a tiny frypan… 33 cents!
    OP is a champ. Thanks.

    • +2

I thought the minimum spend is $10 after discounts.

  • This is a great deal Moots! I used two of the vouchers.

The first purchase was four baby jumpsuits. They were 25% off anyway, less the $20 voucher = $10 for four jumpsuits!

The second purchase was a couple of birthday and wedding cards. I got 5 nice cards for $10. Good chance to stock up!

One of the staff members said initially that the voucher was invalid. Another staff member came over to help her to show how to put it through - there is a special process they need to follow, and if they don't, it says the voucher is invalid. Give it a couple of days and I'd say the staff will become very familiar with how to redeem these vouchers - that is unless they get pulled!

As a Myer One member, I am disappointed that I wasn't emailed this offer, I seem to get every other promotional email, why not this one??

    • Not many companies value existing customers. These vouchers were probably issued to recent members.

  • Thanks OP, got Breville crystal clear kettle http://m.myer.com.au/shop/mobile/mystore/breville-bke595-the… for $59 down from $79 using the voucher at Myer Perth

  • Thanks OP. Successfully used 3 x $20 vouchers at Westfield Eastgardens, NSW.

Business shirt - was $90, on clearance to $60, had 50% off marked price on clearance items on this particular rack, brought it to $30. Used a $20 voucher to bring it to $10.

Lindt easter eggs took $20 off.

Phillips DAB+ clock radio and iPod dock was on clearance for $85, paid $65.

  • Thanks OP! I purchased an Estee Lauder foundation for $50 less $20 for my quarterly rewards and less another $20 through using the $20 off vouch which takes it down to $10, score!

Edit: FYI purchased at the Liverpool (NSW) store

  • monopoly $11, 2x fancy toilet brush things for $20, Ben Sherman tshirt $12, casserole dish $3.90, soehnle scales $50

    Thanks OP and Myer.

All were separate transactions ,different checkout, same voucher

  • Thanks Moots. Great deal.

I have a feeling this will get stopped Monday once management find out about it. May we well use as many as you can on Sunday!

    • Done enough shopping today and will continue tomorrow.

Not hoping to find someone who will allow me to stack the offers, I mean it's nice enough as it is.

    • I have the same feeling…. going out tomorrow once again..

  • I really need a hairdryer I think it looks like electricals included. $20 off a hairdryer would b nice

  • -2

If I buy a $20 thing, can I use the $20 voucher and get it 4 free

    • -1

      Yes.

      • -3

        Cheers, so do I need a MyerOne card? And can I stack a $20 and a $10?

      • No it says $10 minimum spend.

    • +2

Yes! It just can't be under $20. I had a $17 item, and she said it wouldn't accept the $20. It has to be exactly $20 or just over and pay the rest.

    • +1

Its one thing to do that online but if you do it in store you have to deal with the embarrassment factor etc and bad looks from sales staff

      • YES!

      • A true OzBargainer has no embarrassment factor.

  • Thanks OP, will try on a crockery set I'm after tomorrow. Hopefully get a good cashier :)

  • +2

Guess someone in MYER's IT department is going to get fired and we may never ever get this deal like again :(

  • +1

Has anyone tried using these coupons at Melbourne's Bourke St store?

    • Yup n it worked

      • Cheers.

  • When do the vouchers expire? I can only identify xx/xx/xx.

  • Also, anyone tried them at either Canberra Myer stores?

    • I bought a couple of kids outfits at the Canberra Centre Myer- no problems at all. Got two hoodies which were $30 with 25% off came down to $25 used a $20 so cost $5!!!will go back tomorrow

      • Brilliant. Thanks :)

        • Did you have any luck today?

  • -3

Will these work without Myer One Card ?? Has anyone tried.

    • +1

Read one of the 100 comments either sign up on the spot or some workers do it without

  • I didn't stack but made 8 purchases around the $28-$32 on some small items I needed was happy with the $160 discount. Probably go back for more if the codes don't stop working :)

  • Domain error
Please share the pdf version anyone

  • 403: Forbidden error message with all links. I snoozed!

  • Honeymoon is over, GG links are gone.

    • Still seem to be working for me

    • I just tried the links and they are active still for me.

    • +1

Actually - the LINKS from OZB title don't work for me, BUT when I manually enter the URL's they still work

  • I've printed them out luckily.. now just to see if they will accept it tomorrow

    • do you have them saved? any chance you could scan them and share them?

  • Hi Guys, i printed the vouchers but it didnt print the barcode for some reason. Now when i try to open the links, it takes me to some weird page http://myer.dtdmail.com.au/pages/2245 Please help

  • If it's not showing up when you print it, click "Print background"

  • +2

I think we can probably safely assume that Myer have picked up on the error and won't honour them tomorrow, particularly given the xx/xx/xx and blank spaces that should be filled with expiry information.

A bit sad that I missed out :(

    • particularly given the xx/xx/xx and blank spaces that should be filled with expiry information.

I have used the said coupons today and so did the others here. Just call them first thing tomorrow to make sure.

      • They were caught out today and given people reporting in this thread that they didn't need a myer one card, staff were not paying close attention to the vouchers.

If at least one person at Myer is doing their job, all staff will be informed by tomorrow that the vouchers are not valid due to the omission of that information.

Or maybe Myer is even more dysfunctional than we thought and it will be a free for all again tomorrow?
