          nothing on my gmail too…

    • on gmail accounts?

      • yes, your gmail should have a rejection

        • where did you see it? by rejection you mean a sorry you didn't get the voucher email?

        • subj: "no free flight voucher, just infinite frequency"

        • nothing on gmx haha

    • rejection on gmail accounts. one other gmail - nothing

  • Outlook:
    hi James Podsiadly,
we have some bad news. you haven’t won a free flight voucher. but we also have some good news: as an infrequent flyers club member, you’ll receive updates about exclusive deals direct to your inbox. and you’ll be first to know about the cool stuff we have in the works. so stay tuned.
    Yahoo:
    {Tumbleweeds}

    • ok thx, will check outlook again wasn't there a moment ago

      • Weird, it said email received at 9;43 AM this morning when it appeared in the inbox around 7:10.
        Going by wifey emails

Anyone who signed up with gmail account got vouchers? Seems like everyone with gmail got rejection emails

    • -3

my cousin who signed up after me got 4 vouchers and they were not gmail.

      • same here.
family members that signed up after me got vouchers on their non-gmail account while I got rejection on my gmail

      • hmm interesting.. do 'regular joes' mom and pops use gmail?

      • Same issue, but I used a yahoo. S/O used hotmail and got 1, but signed up after me. Doesn't make sense

    • I haven't even got a rejection.

  • If you missed out is that it? If it was a sign-up deal how do you sign-up again when they have your name and address?

    • +1

      No more vouchers

  • can someone who won share their membership id here, dont need to post the whole thing, leave the last digit out so we won't know who's who and we can compare with ours who sign up using gmail account! Pls!

  • -1

could there be a problem with gmail's service and maybe tigerair's server was not able to contact gmail hence skipped through the emails to the next one ??

    its worth mentioning that:
when i got my email in outlook i forwarded a copy of the voucher to my gmail account which never came through, then i tried to forward it to my sister's gmail and that did not get delivered either.

however i tried sending it again now and it was successfully delivered. so i wonder if there could be something wrong with gmail's service ???

    • -1

i just received the voucher email in my gmail account the one i had forwarded from my outlook account at 5:36pm for backup.

the email delivered at 10:06pm in my gmail.. something definitely wrong with gmail's incoming mail service..

GAME OVER GUYS, GET OVER IT!

My son just got one sent to his gmail account 10 mins ago but his brother just got a sorry email 5 mins ago both signed up at the same time 12 01am

    • your son got a voucher?

      • Yes a voucher just got him to check the time on the email and it was only 20 mins ago

        • nothing new on my end.. well good for him :)

        • -1

that means there is still hope :)

        • has anyone also messaged tigerair on fb? I already did but we need more voices in order for them to notice the problem. They have the worst customer service and if it wasn't for my connection flight to Bali I wouldn't even bother!

        • -1

Yes I have sent them a PM too to let them know nearly none of the gmail accounts got the voucher and mostly people got rejections and somw still waiting for good or bad news.

        • You won't get a reply now, reps only work business hours, try in the morning

        • you sent them a list of phony gmail accounts created for the purpose of ripping them off and you expect them to take you seriously?

        • +2

Frantic is that what you have been doing I think we all know you don't need to prove that you did

        • goerspol: why not contact Jitesh Motwani from glen huntly or possibly now mordialloc.. he's selling 10 vouchers and seems very proud of it. He's even listed his mobile number and he's offered to meet in person so you can give him a special thank you

        • woah, 10 wasn't enough then?

  • +1

I wonder who got the most vouchers, let's be honest here, a lot of people have signed up multiple vouchers. I wonder if anyone got more than 30 through out the promotion. Anyone wants to confess? -o- I saw some people selling them on gumtree and ebay, sick bastards!

  • Rejections are slithering through, reckon will have them all by tommorow arvo. Just got one on @gmx.com

  • +4

    Thank you mods :)
A big thank you to the OP markis10 and thank you Tiger. My wife and I will certainly enjoy our voucher. What an excellent deal.

Anyone heard anything from Tigerair yet?

    • -2

BTW, heard something interesting today from my brother who contacted tigerair on Facebook. Apparently they are investigating a large amount of false sign-ups and following up on the resale of the vouchers online. Wonder how that would turn out, stay tuned.

      • +2

how exactly does that help you?

        • +2

It's a bit late don't you think to follow it up? I mean the promotion is finished.

        • +1

Well late for us not for Tigerair. If they find the false sign-ups and cancel those vouchers they can save thousands of $$. They already have got the publicity they wanted.

      • +3

Got a link goerspol? I had a look on their FB page but saw nothing.
        Rating as possible BS.

  • -4

First I would like to point out it's TG doing the investigation not me. On top of that, only people who signed up falsely need to worry, I'm sure everyone here was following the rules and didn't use the vouchers for resale purposes, right? (LOL) People use the vouchers to get to places they can't normally afford, you know, they deserve justice. :)

    • -1

      Good luck mates! ;)

        • same here, good luck with the report and love from TG.

        • lol

  • Just got voucher in email! :D

Signed up one account at about 12:02

    • -1

just got one too at 10:15am

      • -2

me too! Gonna book that connecting flight now!

  • +1

Good stuff, guys (except goerspol who was being petty all the way through).. happy ending afterall :)

  • -1

Are you guys sure you cant book international say Perth to Bangkok return with the vouchers

    Has anyone tried ?

    • Strokes non existent beard… haven't tried, but isn't there something about domestic only somewhere in the terms.. somewhere?

      • -1

        terms & conditions:
Voucher must be redeemed by 30th Sept 2014 ; 23:59hrs (+8GMT). Voucher can be used on Tigerair Australia up to available schedule displayed in the system and is subject to seat availability. Voucher is valid for redemption on one single transaction only. All vouchers and unused credit are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash and bookings are subject to prevailing terms and conditions available on our website.

Nothing that says it cant be used internationally

        • So that is actually just a rumour? .. ..

Seriously though, if this wasn't stated by tiger in any official capacity then why not? It could actually work. And wouldn't that be amazing!

        • Pretty sure someone mentioned this earlier in the thread. I think someone tried and it didn't work plus they voided their voucher.

        • Someone tried b4 in thread and failed. Actually I think they contacted Tiger on FB and they said it was AU domestic only

One of the best if not the best freebie ever submitted on OzBargain!

Anyone actually managed to FLY with multiple vouchers?

    • How many vouchers are we talking about here? ;)

    • +2

Would be interested to know.. confusious say.. freebie is not freebie unless offer offered is used

    • +2

Yep, flew using a ticket fully paid for with 2 vouchers a couple of weeks ago. No issues with check in, was even offered an upgrade to an exit row.

    • Flew from Perth to Melbourne using 2. Came in just a few dollars under the whole voucher value. Sadly… they didn't get any meal stock, so I instead received a card with an email I could contact to complain…. Which I left behind the safety card.

      :'(

      • Damm :(

  • +1

Just a small thing worth mentioning.. make sure if you got a voucher and it landed in your spam/junk to 'mark as not spam' as most free email services will purge those.. gmail is 30 days? outlook is 10? Course I screenshoted it same night hehe

  • Does anyone know if I can book 2 $50 flights with 1 voucher?

    • yes u can, as long as both flights are on the same booking

      • I should clarify, what I meant was 2 different legs, not 2 seats on the same flight. Ie: Bris > Syd, Syd > Mel.
