TigerAir have launched a mailing list with specials etc, called the Infrequent Flyer Club. First 5000 to join get a $100 voucher.

Note they have more periods where they will be giving away the vouchers if you signup:

    Anyone able to properly load the mobile site?
    I tried last night on an Android phone and could not get any login tab, only get logo, clouds and youtube. Tried with a user agent changer too with Firefox/Chrome/IE, then tried requesting desktop site, no dice.

    Can you preload all your details before 00:00 and then just hit submit the moment it reaches midnight, or do you have to begin entering your details AFTER 00:00?

    Has anyone successfully been able to apply two vouchers towards one flight? My boyfriend and I have one voucher each but he won't use it by the expiry date of the voucher so I thought I'd use both towards my flight to Perth if possible?

          a few signups where I can login @ infrequentflyers.com and print voucher card haven't (as yet.. 6:27AEST) received either a voucher or the 'no free flight voucher' email.. guess there might be some IP blocking to prevent abuse..maybe..

          No IP blocking.
          Go to the email provider's online login (e.g. [email protected] go to outlook.com) and check spam
          If you were lucky to get a voucher, it'll be in spam or main inbox

      there would definitely be comments about it if that were the case. With Tiger giving away so many I've come to the conclusion that they just don't care/mind. There's probably a whole lot of people willing to take a chance (albeit a free chance) on them now even after hearing all the horror stories. I've been a Tiger flyer for a few years now, maybe about 10 trips domestic and the worst problem I had was a 2 hour delay so they are really not all that bad.

      Why the negs? Frantic has a valid point. Given what others have said it may be the case you can do it. But I would hate to roll upto the airport and find out they weren't going to honour it. I think Soybeanus is right they probably don't mind.

      As long as you OLCI and don't see the counter staff, I would think you'll be 100% safe (but anyway, the counterers couldn't see your payment could they?)

        From my standard check ins through Tiger they just seem to grab your ID, check you off, tag your luggage (I've been accidentally 5kg over and nobody hassled me thank god!), give you your boarding pass and inform you of the gate/time you need to be there. Nothing longer than 2 minutes at most, pretty relaxed. More than half the time my cabin luggage wasn't weighed either.

        Hmm.. with jetstar and the previous expedia.jp price mismatching.. they knew I paid in yen and joked around as they refunded me 'xxxx yen' think cos my luggage order didn't go through and I only had a carryon anyway.. can't remember exactly.. my guess is they won't bother if you've reached the checkin counter.. tiger is one step up from greyhound coaches :P

        No they can't. Tigerair airside operations used to be done by AeroCare who have now passed it on to Toll Dnata staff. Source: friends works at adelaide check in counter [ only advantage lets me off on extra weight :) ]
