Pay $69 at Target (in store only) and claim your $75 cashback from here and end up with $6 in your pocket and a free coffee machine. Full Terms and Conditions can be found here

Copy of receipt http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/39370/22205/image.jpg

The capsules in the box were expired so the gave me a new box of capsules for free.

These are not on the shelves but are either in storage or in the office. I rang Target customer service on 1300 753 567 and was told there are quite a few stores in Melbourne with stock. Possibly other states too but I didn't ask. Call customer service to check whether your local store has stock.

Not to be confused with the Delonghi Dolce Gusto Genio 2 - EDG465B which is selling at Target for $144 ($69 after cashback)

Same machine selling for $134 (before cashback) @ David Jones - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/135746

If you can't find stock at Target try Officeworks (Big W has stock but won't price-match - exception)

MOD: The URL is now changed to Target. It's not available online but might still be available in store. However as other OzBargainer has commented, Target has now claimed that they have no stock left.

        • If you pay with cash i don't think you get an RNN number. It's the number below the bar code.

        • That may be the case then, I paid with cash

I ended up just inputting the first 10 digits of the 16 digit number below the barcode (the online form only allows 10 digits)

        • It's all good. When you make a claim, you need to attach the receipt anyways. They will figure it out.

  • I used RRN

  • +1

I got the second last one from OW Chadstone. One is the 455B model and one is 456S model. Both has Genio silver sticker on top. The 455B model is priced at $85 because it has a chip on the plastic water holder.

The capsule in 456S has expired so they gave me $10 discount. All in all, I got it for $89. I tried to price match with OW Elsternwick but they said it's about $133 other store and it's not 455B. It costs me $14.

However, if you don't mind the chip, $85 should be reduced by another $10 for expired capsules (I already checked) so technically costing only $1 after the cashback.

    So there you go…

  • Thanks OP!

I managed to get mine from OW. I had 4 leftover Coles Myer gift cards collected over the past year so I just used them all up. Each gift card produced a separate RRN even though I only purchased 2 of the machines. So I'd say that the RRN is the transaction number for that payment method, not the receipt number.

I could be wrong though, but I think the receipt number may be the one below the barcode. And I think just use the last 10 digits as they're the 'more' unique numbers.

  • Hi guys, the Target receipt number is on the top right hand side, underneath the date and time. I have found it here: http://target.media.vserver.com.au/service01/22025/receipt.h…

  • Does any target have any stock?

Went to Target @ Kotara NSW.
There were no Genio 1 boxes around, lots of Genio 2.

Noticed 1 of the 2 display machines looked slightly different, and when i looked on the bottom of it, was actually a Genio 1
So i asked for the box for it so i could purchase.
They went and got the box for the Genio 1, then went and got the display machine, but picked up the Genio 2 by mistake.
I didn't mention anything while they were trying to pack it into the Genio 1 box. Target employee had some trouble trying to fit the 2 into the 1 cardboard surround so i just said not to worry about it and just cram it in the box.
So when he rang it up on the register, he gave it to me for $50.00 as he said id been stuffed around getting it into the box.
    Win!

So i got the Genio 2 for $50 (RRP$179), have now claimed my $75 cash back voucher, already got a sample pack in the box, and have claimed another sample pack online!

    Thank you OzBargain!!

    • +6

That is quite dodgy my friend!

Ozbargain already helps you to get a very good deal but for you to get even more greedy and dodgy!

What you just did is just abusing the good intent and being dodgy, which is not cool at all!

    • +1

That also means in future someone may paid the price of Genio 2 and get the very old Genio 1 you left on the shelf. That's not cool.

      • -1

        lol
        "you left on the shelf"
Incorrect, i told the employee that there were 2 different models on display, they went and got the incorrect model.
I'm not there to do their job for them.
so much hate, i love it.

        • Yeah sometimes you just couldn't stand the staff ignorance. I had one experience the milk was near expiry and had a reduced to clear bar code stuck on top of the original one so it can be scanned at a reduced price. The staff t the checkout just torn it away and scanned the original bar code at full RRP. LOL…could he get any smarter than this?

    • Maybe it will break down and then can't claim because the receipt is for a Genio 1.

      • +1

maybe it will, who knows, i don't think it will thought, i'll be sure to let you know.
        keep on hating Elppa8

        • No hate in my bones, just pointing out the consequences.
Had something similar happened to me recently, purchase Sony receiver from JB and even after the security check at the door when I got to the car found the sales guy had given me the next model up. It did go through my mind for a few seconds to keep going, but on weighing it up that 1. It was dishonest, 2. The sales guy might be in trouble, and 3. I wouldn't be able claim warranty if required. Admittedly it was a few more dollars than your coffee machine.
It a matter whether one feels better doing the right thing or for screwing an innocent party over.

    • At the exact time point you noticed their mistake and selected not to say, you turned yourself a thief.

And we all know thieves always win until they got caught.

  • Got it from Office works with pricematch.
Go there and show them price listed on Target website and they will match price.
Otherwise officeworks are selling it for $113

    • May I know where it is?

I am so amazed why so many people are so interested to this machine. Get a better Nespresso system. Cheaper now at https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/141145

Coles sells Nescafe Dolce Gusto half price just for $49 this week. No sweat, no need for Target and OW drama :)

However Nespresso Essenza with frother for $80 is MUCH BETTER system.

    • Show me the profit?

    • That's the mini I think which is excluded from the offer?

  • The terms stated below does that mean only one of these model can be redeemed per household?

"One claim per participating model purchased is permitted up to a maximum of five claims per household, provided each claim is made separately with a completed claim form with proof of purchase & barcode attached."

  • For those who are still looking to get one in Victoria, there is plenty of stock in coles Berwick Eden rise for $69. I saw at least 30 stacked….next to voss :))

    • I thought Coles were only selling the mini model. It looks like a penguin.

      • +1

Yes i believe thats the Mini Me model EDG305 which is not part of this cashback deal. So dont go rushing ur Happy Feet in there :)

        • No, I believe it was dolce gutso genio. It looked exactly like the model above. Anyhow, would be good to check out for ppl who r living close by and wanting to buy.

  • The question is are people getting their cash back.

  • So did anyone call delonghi and ask if the one's bought at target are eligible for the cashback or not???

    • Yeah they did and Delonghi said it would be fine.

  • "As well as the $75 cashback you can also claim a FREE Variety Pack Big thanks to DoubleUKayG for pointing this out." - where do I find the machine barcode that the page is asking for ? I've tried quite a few numbers (eg 5425), but the page seems to return back with no confirmation what so ever.

    • Could be your browser's fault. I tried Chrome and it just refresh the page, but IE apparently works.

  • For anyone who's still after this machine, you can go to Officeworks and ask them to price match with Myer. It is currently on sale on the Myer website for $120. So after price match, it'll be $114. I asked the manager if he could give me more discount because the sample pods are expired and he was happy to give me an extra $5 off. But when he tried it in the system, he said he couldn't override the price, maybe after the Target thing, they've done something to not allow any sort of manual price change? So I told him not to worry, as the expiry date said 042014, so technically it hasn't expired yet. This is at Officeworks Melbourne, on Collins St. So if you go to a different one, maybe the manager there can do something and you can get another $5 off. So in all, after the cashback, it'll be $39 for me which is still pretty cheap. It's now sitting in the work kitchen to keep my small workplace entertained.

    • +1

$39 after cashback is too expensive.

      • cos we're expecting to pocket $6 profit right?! lol :)

        • Try to post another deal "now $39 after cashback" to see how many upvotes you will get.

  • Just going to send my claim form does anybody reckon I need to send it registered or could just get away with regular mail?

  • Anyone received or got approved of their claim ?

    • according to tracking, they picked my claim up yesturday morning from the post office . I sent it the day after the deal was posted

      • What's the status showing ? Pending ?

        • stsatus of the claim process? How do I see that?

  • What's the difference between this one and the Mini Me?

    • +5

      big penguin, small penguin

      • That's it just the size?

  • Okay well sent it registered now, so will wait and see. :)

  • Any one got the Cashback ? Or any confirmation about the claim receipt ?

    • Mine was delivered yesterday so will have to wait and see what happens from there on.

    • Mine was delivered 24th May and I've still not heard a thing yet.

  • +2

I have a claim date and it is showing as PENDING on the Dolce Gusto Promotion website.

    https://secure.hmmpromos.com.au/DolceGusto/conditions.aspx

Go to the bottom of the page and type in your email address you applied with on the claim status page

    • Thanks OP ! Mine is still showing pending.. Just sent last week. How many days it take to approve ?

  • +2

    My status shows approved.

    • Same.

      APPROVED

Your claim has been approved and your Cash Back Card is being created which can take up to 14 days.

  • Mine still pending but only just received.

  • Approved here too.

  • +3

My Claim status shows - Dispatched.

    • Me too! Fricking awesome! It worked!

Target are currently re-advertising these for $58.65…
If you can be bothered finding stock you might get an even better deal.

    http://www.target.com.au/p/delonghi-dolce-gusto-coffee-machi…

    • Return and repurchase.

      • or rather purchase then return - at officeworks :)

      • you cant return since the box is damaged (bar code cut off)

        • I peeled the barcode sticker off my box and sent that to get my cashback. Box is still intact with another barcode underneath.

        • mine wouldn't peel off.

If the rep is smart, they would notice it. At target when i bought mine, the bottom barcode wouldn't scan and she had to use the top barcode, not sure why?

It would still be fraud as the next person who buys it wont be able to claim cashback as the serial number would be registered at Delongi

        • mine wouldn't peel off.

          :(

At target when i bought mine, the bottom barcode wouldn't scan and she had to use the top barcode, not sure why?

top (cashback) barcode is local, bottom is global

It would still be fraud as the next person who buys it wont be able to claim cashback as the serial number would be registered at Delongi

return the 2nd product with the 1st receipt :)

  • Still plenty of stock at OW. Cost from OW would be $55.72 and $19.28 profit after $75 cash back. Must be purchased by Sunday 11th May.

  • Woo hoo approved!

  • +1

Received the free variety pack today.

  • +3

Cashback received today, $75 eftpos card as expected. Perfect!

    • Did they ask you for your postal address prior to sending the eftpos card to you? (They told me they would.)

      • No, all were provided in the claiming form.

  • +1

Got mine today. Very happy :) Thanks OP

  • -2

Got my EFT card today and sold Delonghi on Ebay for extra profit :)

  • Go my extra pack of coffees today. Just waiting for the cashback. That has been dispatched!

    • It has been 13 days since they dispatched the EFT card, how long did it take for others?

  • received cash card today - thanks op :)

    • Same! Yay!

      • Same here. Looks like I was first to buy and last to receive the gift card.

    • was it normal or registered post

      • Normal. These guys are good about lost cards. I never received my $100 tefal card. They could see my card had not been activated so they cancelled the old card and sent out a new one.

Are you still waiting for yours EC?

        • i was, got mine 2 days ago

        • Good to hear. Well done.

        • +1

A big thanks to you unity :D
