        Harsh - you got any evidence? I don't know these guys, but price alone looks quite reasonable. Assume it's four years and it's not a bad price at all for this type of account. No idea about performance.

    That's a great question that never came up before!

    The lifetime hosting account is an account that you own for as long as you want it. You have addon names so domains can be changed as much as you would like. We can also add on extra domain names if necessary. If you decide to transfer the account, then it becomes the new person's lifetime account. I hope this all makes sense. It really just means that as long as you require hosting for your website(s), it is yours.

      I wonder what the turnover rate is for new sites that don't take off. I don't know, but it seems like a high percentage of users with a 'good idea' would fail within a year and abandon their account. This means minimal space usage and no traffic to speak of.

      companies offer web hosting for $10/year. they just cram heaps of customers on to a single server. so $120 is equivalent to 12 years of hosting, if indeed the company does stay in business that long.

    There was a company back in 1997 or 1998 that used to offer lifetime hosting. It went tits up a few years later but I used to love looking a their site and looking at the price list for lifetime hosting. The machines they were running on were state of the art back then but would be antiquated rubbish dump material these days.

    I can't quite remember its name, but it had a whole bunch of robots as mascots on its pages. Can anyone who remembers the early days of the commercial internet recall?

    If they are confident and survive, this is one of the best deals I've seen for web hosting, like another person mentioned above, even if it lasts 4 years, it's pretty worth it

      We are not held together by hosting which is why we are trying to offer the public a bargain, after all this is OzBargain. After seeing some of the responses here, we might just keep our hosting the way it was which is to only serve our web design clients and keep them free of hosting worries. We deal mostly with businesses and we take away all the web related headaches from their business so that they can worry about the real stuff.

    I did not expect some of the responses on here as I was under the impression that people were in search of a good deal as I am a frequent user of this website and appreciate the deals associated. We primarily only open up our hosting to the local Airlie Beach community without advertisement which is why it is reasonably priced at $400. For a limited time it is $120 using that coupon code. After dealing with clients that have been paying $400 per year for hosting, we have formulated this pricing plan for those types. This hosting suits businesses which is what we primarily deal with so it may not suit most visitors to this bargain. As there are more options in this category, please feel free to explore those as they might be more along the lines.

      I would not recommend you use this deal for a eCommerce website. Pay a little more for proper support(and a SLA) if you're going to be using it for business reasons, and not personal.

          That's ok, I did read after posting (from a few years ago) that Cirtex charged $25 to enable. I don't know if that changed at all.

    You can get 3 years worth of hosting for $53.87AUD …. (and that's expensive, you can find even cheaper).

    So… for $120 you can get 8 years of hosting. I know is not lifetime but still sounds a little more thrust worthy.
