Following the success of my recent Gearbest posts, I've kindly been asked by Gearbest if I could continue to post on their behalf.   This is a speaker, not a speakerphone. It's for listening to music, audiobooks, or podcasts in the shower or while soaking in a bath tub. You can't make or receive calls with it.

I was about to report TA's Gearbest deals to the moderation team for what appears to be a specific violation of the deal posting guidelines, which I haven't seen mentioned in the comments.

Regarding the possible use of referral/affiliate links in the URLs, I see from three recent deals:

Sometimes additional HTML code in the URL serves a useful purpose, but in this case, the bit after .html appears to be entirely unnecessary.

  You can find links to Youtube videos by Gearbest and Geek Redneck (both posted in this topic). From what I can tell, the quality more than adequate for the purpose it serves, regardless of the price.

I have experienced the negativity of OzB posters too. I was raving about a product that I used and loved and wanted to share this with fellow ozbargainers. I was instantly accused of being a secret rep, that I was posting for profit, that I had an ulterior motive for the positive review. So I have not posted a positive comment since.   My order also still says pending since I placed the order (19/4/2014) and according to the status bar, it also said that I haven't paid for my item, contradictory to an email from them saying that they have received the payment.

  its less than a month - you chose to use China post - deal with it.
  if it hasn't arrived by day 45 lodge a paypal dispute just in case (as its the last day), but dont be surprised if it takes up to 8 weeks, China post is unbelievably unreliable. If you want fast, choose another postage method.
  At least it isnt DX.com who can take a month just to post stuff.

    I've just re-read the original listing and it said, "ships within 3 days". However, it took them 2 weeks from the time they accepted my money, to ship the unit.

Ordered mine from this deal on 24 April, email to say it was shipped on 29 April and it turned up in letter box yesterday.

I lodged a ticket with them and they replied saying up to 25 business days but could be delayed in customs.

Purchased two as separate orders on 20th Apr (the second one without the voucher). Got one shipping notification on the 5th May and the other on the 7th. Haven't received either to date.

The provided tracking numbers don't work.

On the bright side, looks like the deal is back though if anyone's feeling lucky.

I have my doubts it was shipped on the 5th.

This was posted 10 years ago, and might be an out-dated deal.
