      absolutely. If you don't mind using a browser and getting stereo sound only, go for it. Me, I like my Roku at the windows 8 apps on the PC, so I get 1080p and 5.1 where avialable.

      Agree entirely I don't see the point of this when you can get any number of services for free. Personally I use the Hola pug-in for Chrome.

        Sure, if you are using a browser then stay with what you have.

        However if you are running Chromecast, XBMC, a console such as XBone/Wii, or want to run Hulu or other geoblocked services on a Android Phone, iPhone etc then a service like this is needed.

    Does anyone know how Getflix deals with dynamic ips? My isp is dynamic, currently with unblock us and they have a little program that resides in memory that checks and updates ip addresses. This is the only thing holding me back from using Getflix.

    Am I correct in assuming your getflix account and Facebook account must be registered with the same email address (to achieve the Facebook like discount)?

      I assume so, or how would they know? Maybe you can send them an email afterwards and they can link it and apply the discount? I was unsure so I signed up using Facebook auth and the discount automatically applied.

      Doesn't have to be the same email. We went to like them and it didn't work. Just lodged a ticket with them and they gave us the cheaper rate anyway. Almost as a 'aww you tried' reward :P

    Been using Getflix and buying discounted Netflix Gift Cards off eBay for some time now. If you've got your head screwed on, it's a very safe investment and far greater value for money than FOXTEL.
