      Looks like good value for the price with the $60 off. It just depends on the features included, and trade ofs with other similar models. I alway check MSY first as they always have good regular prices on a big range of laptops/ultrabooks/tablets.

    Fixed value discounts are pretty lame, and oddly encourage a buyer to purchase at the lower end of the price bracket.

    • $150 - $299 = $15 off
    • $300 - $499 = $30 off
    • $500+ = $60 off

    That means the biggest saving is when you spend $500.01 since you get 12% off but the higher over the mark you get the smaller your discount percentage.

    Eg buy a TV for $299 and get $15 off means only a 5% discount. But buy a $150 TV gets a 10% discount.

          Payroll tax given their products are packed overseas, and any fbt associated with those employees. Company tax, depending where the kogan brand name is registered. Stamp duty as they have a smaller footprint here now than they would need if they were a traditional import, warehouse and distribute Web business. I'm sure you could think of more…

      I think u just need to be a bit more patient.

      Don't mean to sound rude but what reason do u believe they would have grounds to cancel (it certainly doesnt seem crazy price to jump to a pricing error reason).

          My status hadn't changed from awaiting dispatched so I gave them a call. He said the warehouse I was allocated to had a fair few orders on backorder. He managed to source an available one from another warehouse and said I should have tracking number tonight.
          So I suggest if your in same situation give them a buzz or else u may be waiting a while.
