    If the tours that you must be a part of within North Korea were so of a more OzBargain price I'd be booking a flight without hesitation. Those tours are just too expensive though.

    It is worth comparing AirKoryo tour prices with the ones offered by Brooklyn. He had led many trips into North Korea from Dandong. You can also give him a call if you have any questions.

    Also Dandong is very close to a section of the Great Wall of Chinese. It's a very short and very cheap bus ride from the Dandong Bus station to the Great Wall.

    4 days from Dandong (travel to and from Dandong-Pyongyang by slow train) is 800 euros or AUD $1162 (includes tour, accommodation and food).

    Note: Train from Dandong (China) to Pyongyang is very slow - takes almost a whole day as the border check on the North Korea side takes ages.

    If you want to experience China on the same trip a suggested itinerary is Beijing-Pyongyang (fly), Pyongyang to Dandong (train), Dandong to Shenyang (train or bus), Shenyang to Beijing (fly).

It is the birthplace of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), and has many cultural relics which symbolize the prosperity and subsequent decline of China's last feudal dynasty… The most famous of these is the Shenyang Imperial Palace , which is of great historic and artistic significance and second only to the Forbidden City in Beijing in the extent of its preservation Fuling Tomb and Zhaoling Tomb are two other famous imperial structures of the Qing Dynasty.

    This is actually one of the most interesting places to visit. Definitely worth visiting once in your life and very safe if you are on a tour. The place is beautiful. It's one of the most highly recommended places to visit for people who have actually been there. Ignore most of the propaganda that you read in the papers.

    after filling out the form to get tickets, did anyone else notice their email / skype has been hacked? I've had both hacked the following day and money taken from my bank account?
