i have one. make sure your device is compatible with this otherwise it's useless.
My phone is compatible (SG2), but it didn't work at first. After uninstalling, rebooting and then reinstalling it worked fine. Bought another.

well, it interfered my phone's functionality to access some apps properly so I had to take it out. :(

Can't comment on these guys as I haven't ordered anything from them until today. But Tmart, similar china based seller, usually takes about 6-8 weeks to arrive in my experience
Yeah, I'm sure it'll turn up eventually, it's been 6 weeks since they said they shipped it, but given the dry bags have turned up from gearbest that were ordered after this, they clearly have very slow shipping times compared to other china based stores.
I'd be getting onto them and/or Paypal. Mine arrived from the previous OzB $2.12 deal about 2-3 weeks ago!

Not on my S4. Just a matter of installing a 'decent' app and restarting the phone!

I tried 2 of these on my s3. But they didnt work 'properly' I tried a couple of apps including "AutomateIT" and the pressy plugin.
Gave it to a mate with a S3 rooted phone and they worked npz.
I used the standard app they list but found it almost useless. I think it only did about 6 things!
I currently have AutomateIt. I have the Pressy plugin and a couple of others but haven't really played around enough to set it up properly with extra rules, etc. I do remember it being a little fiddly to get working at first as it kept referring it as headphones. But from memory… after you inastall the apps and plugins you had to turn it off/on, plug it in and set default to Pressy! I also remember it taking me several shots as it kept telling me I'd pushed the button before setup as it's so bloody small to push in without pushing the button!!!
You shouldn't need root.
It just acts like the button on a headset, there are quite a few apps to let you control what it does.

For about the 5 years that I had one, I found that the iPhone was a sensational device.
Then by chance the Mrs didn't want her new S4 and was getting silly offers for it, so I grabbed it… and have NEVER looked back!!! Well, maybe for the first month or two while getting used to it!!! Ps. My 2 yo now loves the iPhone! ;)
If you don't mind long waiting, go ahead, otherwise stay away from this dealer
I got mine (eventually) and have no idea why I got it. Haven't found a real use for it. Sure, there are hundreds of things I could do but I ended up discarding it as I never used it.

Pulled my trigger this time, and might use it just as a dust plug, if it ever comes.
I start to find this thing very annoying with my Nexus 5. If I plug it in, my nexus 5 won't have sound coming out of speaker when playing game or listening to Music, even though I select "Klick" plugged in. The worst part is it won't let you answer call without putting on speaker, so I just left it off these days..

There is real online chat customer support, quite surprised. She agreed to cancel my order and refund back to my paypal, it seems good if the paypal refund happens soon.
There's definitely hardware compatibility issues with some phones.. on my Optimus G it runs fine.
I use the Klick app, mostly cause I can't be bothered registering to Xiaomi forums to download the English version of their app miclick and the others appear to be in Chinese only but might be worth trying the other apps to see if that resolves the problem.
I suppose you could put it into mic connection as a dust stopper..that's what I'm doing now with other backup phone ;) true ozbargainer always find good use of cheap stuff ;)
Trouble is it'll disable your speaker, thinking you have headphones plugged in. Some phones may have a setting to disable the auto-headphone-detect but not all. Not ideal.
Didn't receive my item, paid $6.36 for 3 of em.
I have a PayPal complaint open with them and they've told me I need to 'check with my post office' and they're supposedly checking too. I've given them 24 hours to refund me or i'll escalate with PayPal. Shocking service.
I found the klick app, created an "unknown" entry in the outgoing call log every time I made or took a call (HTC M7). The only thing that fixed it was uninstalling and giving it to my father in law!!

A Must have device for inbuilt speaker audiobook listeners. Can finally have a hard button to pause and play with a locked screen.
Works with my Bluetooth headset too , Dont have to search for a fiddly button on the headset.
For it to work well I turn the Click app on , plug it in then close the click app. No problems at all using it this way. If I leave the app on it can stuff around with the phone speaker so I need to use handfree to listen to calls. No probs with the app switched off though!

can anyone recommend a good app that works? ive tried automateit with the pressy plugin and it will work intermittently at best. Klick doesnt work at all. Anyone else having similar problems? im using a galaxy note 3.
how to use pressy plugin? just install the pressy app from playstore, dont need to activate (we need serial number)?
i tried klick, yes works but slow. and also sometimes when i press it changes the volume instead of executing my preset command.

Have you tried reading the app description on google play? It explains why the app wont work with other 'branded' click smart buttons.

Does Automateit or Klick allow you to take photos with the screen off? I'm using Macrodroid but the photos are out of focus :(
