  • Why are there so many DSE postings on Ozbargain? Especially, when they are not even a bargain.

    • +7

oh cool. Post your cheaper price please.

I posted this because the last deal seemed popular, and I figured out how to order the products when the page was 404. just trying to help.

Just do a search in Ozbargain using "DSE" and you will find that these Eneloop batteries are on sale every month.

So how is this a bargain???

        • Every month??? I think they've been on sale just about every day the past week or so!!!

        • Yes, almost everyday we get a DSE "bargain".

        • +1

@hunter13: Yep! That'd be because this is a bargain website! Having a whinge about too many bargains posted on a bargain website….? Maybe you should post something yourself rather than have a go.

        • It not a bargain if it is on sale almost everyday.

Think about it and check for your self…

    • +18

You've posted a link to AAA…. this is for AA

don't let the actual facts get in the way of a good bold whinge JV

Its a bargain now for 2 packs

    • that was including delivery

      • Ahhh yes you got me there. Forgot it's free delivery friday.

        • +1

It was free delivery yesterday too.

        • @unity1: not for the AA pack. there seems to be a bit of confusion. This is for the AA not the AAA

        • @ChickenTalon: I think everything was free delivery yesterday. I'm sure I saw a banner advertising free delivery till Friday.

        • @unity1:
Yes it was, because a few of us bought the Idapt chargers for $5!!!

    Be warned!
If you have kids at home, they might mistake those for chocolate sticks and result in battery poisoning.

a couple of weeks ago i was listening to my sony walkman cassette player and had to replace the 4 AA batteries as they were flat.

my hipster friend watched me take out my 4 Eneloop glitter AA's and started laughing at me.

"glitter!!" he screamed trilly whilst stroking his beard and almost falling of his fixie.

anyway, feeling ashamed, I bought some off these chocolate Eneloops the next day.

yesterday I had to change my sony walkman cassette player batteries again. my hipster friend was nodding in approval at my Eneloop chocolates.

    • +1

I enjoyed this, but what is a fixed?

      • +3

Bicycle with no gears or "free wheel". Basically the rotation of the pedals is fixed to the rotation of the rear wheel Via the chain.

Preferred mode of transport for unwashed couriers and hipsters

        • Seems we are also following the European trend of fixies being used by serious road riders for training.

        • A fixie is what they ride on velodromes too at the Olympics etc.

Awesome for monos, we used them in 27" form (70s to 80s), with handle bars flipped up and you could mono those all day long. A nie frame, set of alloy rims, bars etc, CrMo forks. Nice bikes for their time, and not overly expensive depending on frame.

If you have the leg strength and technique, you can pedal backwards and smoke tyres.

Actually, anyone seen that Iran (??) burnout v Russioan or some such. A bicyclist v a BMW. That would be a fixie too.

    • hipsters should be lined up and shot…..preferably with a large calibre round with good penetration, to conserve ammunition….If you like Glitter then you should be able to use them whenever and wherever you want. Afterall Glitter Eneloops are still Eneloops…and all OZbargainers love Eneloops

    • Very funny, they sure do like their fixie's…and beards.

    • lucky you didn't have to buy a gramophone to nod his approval!

    • These aren't listed on their eBay site. I've already got that link in the deal description. thanks champ

  • Clicking on the link on the Dick Smith site to the AA Chocolat 8pk seems to result in a 404 Not Found 1 error page. But this direct link to it is working.
