  • I have asked the rep to fix the link as it is currently pointing to the Celeron bundle.

  • Great prices… Edit- too good to be true huh

  • Hi guys,

Link is not wrong, our banner is wrong. Deeply apologize for the mistake.

    SE

    • so sad……. unless its 2830

      • it's N2820, just had a random check on our current stock & have not detected any 2830 (looking at the boxes) yet.

        • the n2820 can have the revision n2830 (not listed on box)… it depens on the serial number like I posted below…:

can you confirm it is the 2830 model? serial should be 203 at the end.. ie "H24582-203"

      • Noob question, why is the 2830 so much better?

        • CPU

    • can you confirm it is the 2830 model? serial should be 03 at the end.. ie "H24582-203"

    • In that case PC LAN's deal is cheaper by a few $, factoring in shipping and CC surcharge.

      • yep; pc lan's is better now… would be nice to honour your catalog shop xpress :(….

Surely that can be arranged. I will provide a special Ozbargain code to bring it down to $279 delivered

        • A1 services . Many would be happy.

        • Hi - checkout code NUC-2908 doesn't seem to be reducing the price to 279 in my checkout. Any ideas?

An i3 NUC with 4GB of RAM and a 120GB SSD seems almost too good to be true. Although the deal description and product image imply it's an i3—both online and in their latest special offers email—the link is to an n2820 unit. Here's hoping it is actually the i3 unit.

In any case, archived for posterity.

    • If only! I would love to see an i3 bundle even sub-$400 so I buy 4-5 to replace to old clunkers I have at the office (although I could go the Celeron I just don't feel the love with the 2820). Still, I would probably need to buy a few new monitors with HDMI too!

it's more expensive than pclan offer and u do not have to wait

  • OP - if you can update this coupon code: NUC-2908 on the post.

Enter coupon code during promotion period and get $20 OFf to bring total price to $279 delivered

    cheers

    • Done… can you answer this please (just a quick look at the box will tell you)

can you confirm if it may be the 2830 model? serial should be 203 at the end.. ie "H24582-203"

      • assembled nuc would be more specific too.

I've checked it earlier today, opening a few boxes and they are 2820 - i don't think 2830 is here yet.

        Cheers

have you physically checked via bios? or are you just going off "what the box says" … they have been upgraded (same model no#) since May this year…. i want to see if this is old stock? how hard is it to check a serial or just check a few ?

          see thread here:
          https://communities.intel.com/thread/50331

straight from the Intel rep's mouth:

          "Hi all,

You'll be able to identify the difference between them by the SA# on the label on the bottom of the chassis and the barcode label on the box.

          N2820 version: SA H22962-100, H22962-101, and H22962-102

N2830 version: SA H22962-103 and later

Let me check on the TPS - it looks like Section 1.3 Processor mentions both processors, but the Feature Summary table does not. I'll alert the NUC team about that to fix the table.

          Regards,

          Lois

          Intel"

          @frysie:

The box says xxxx962-102, Manufactured: July 2014
I don't check via bios as we don't physically open it. All assembled ones have been already checked by our technician and replied on our previous thread.

          cheers

I understand some of you wanted the latest CPU & we've done some checking during previous sale and yesterday's sale.

          @ShoppingExpress:
curious to why this guy got a -103 model hence 2830 in the last sale?

          " Copie on 07/08/2014 - 14:42

Guys SE's stock is definitely the updated model, the one I recieved from them last week confirms this

          bostos on 07/08/2014 - 14:47

can you check the version of your one?

Yep 103, build date 04/14 and the bios confirms this as it's showing as a 2830

          "

anyway to sort through your shipment and apply the "2830" to ozbargain coupon code users? ;) lol

        • @frysie:

lol - i can't explain that particular one as our new stock states July which is more recent.
I can see you want 2830 REAL bad :P.

          @ShoppingExpress:

sure do as it has quicksync for video playing… 1333mhz memory support etc.

        • @frysie:

Seems Copie may have received a random 2830 but everyone else is still getting 2820's.
Wont be long now though and I am sure SE will sell a heap of these once the new model is available.

        • @King Tightarse: yeah look like there are few holding out for the 2830 CPU. If rep could let us know when the next NUC sale is posted if its the 2830 CPU would be great.

    • The code NUC-2908 does not work!

  • yup, coupon "NUC-2908" no workee
