  • Jealous! I picked up the same deal for $550 at lunch using the earlier post.

Looks like a set bundle and set price based on the catalogue code. Confirmed with my local store price valid till 22/9/14. The stock they have at the moment are all pre-orders but more stock coming later in the week.

If your store does not have stock go in store and you can get this bundle at this price by placing a 10% deposit.

    • +1

Yup, the code YG10606TLOU strongly suggests that this is a valid bundle. :)

  • Hell yeah! I'll be trying this one out on the way home. Thanks for posting.

  • posted in error. <edited>

I've called up a few stores; they either have no stock of the white Destiny Bundles or have no idea about the TLOU deal.

EDIT: Found a store with stock & threw my name down for it; picking it up this arvo if they don't screw up and sell it on me :)

    • which DSE store? vic?

      • Just got home from Toombul with the console, but had to get TLOU from Chermside. Chermside have 1x Destiny bundle left and they know about the deal!

      • Airport West had a few today

  • bazinga if you can get it for this price your laughing

  • has anyone price match yet?

Waiting for Xbox deals (with Kinect).

Think your posting on the wrong page mate.

      • -1

Got it, can't edit it now.

      • Xbox users salivating as usual Elijah…

  • Sydney CBD stores are horrible when it comes to price matching such bargains. Oh well, it doesn't hurt to try. I will report afterwards…

Edit: I called DS in Rhodes and the guy was not surprised at all. The bundle must be official since he checked the price as well and confirmed $518. Alas, all sold out but you can order with 10% up front.

  • Just picked up the last one from Adelaide city store.
    Had to enquire twice.
The first staff didn't know anything about the deal!!
Just tell them to put them through the system and it will come up… no need for price matching!!

  • I paid more for just the console by itself at launch day :(

  • Picked up the white destiny bundle, black flag, Kama headset and a 2nd hand copy of Watch Dogs at JB for $578 total. Already have TLOU on PS3 but pick your poison by the looks of it. See if EB will do a different game ;)

  • Was at JB Hifi Westfield South Morang and they had the White PS4 2 game bundle for $519. This was their standard price and listed on their wall as the set price. No need for haggle, just walk in.

    • JB only does it with Ass Creed 4 though. I'd much rather TLOU personally.

    • Yes, already posted: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/159259

Some people might find this one more attractive as it has TLOU instead of AC

      • +1

And it's a dollar cheaper for the better game! :P

  • +1

I haven't really played my consoles in a while, but the PS4 deals are getting tempting. Especially TLOU remastered. Dang gadget lust!

  • +3

Why can't you get this in the black version… I don't want white… effectively 2 x $60 games and the console for $400…. waiting for the DSE ebay deal again… :(

  • Jb Hifi @ world square is willing to match it, except the fact both this store and town hall store are out of stock for Last of Us!

Get stuck with AC4, but well i shouldn't complain!

You guys know it's cheaper and better to buy a PC right? I mean make your own choices I guess, but food for thought.

    • +8

Got a link to TLOU and Destiny on PC?

    • Actually, the upfront cost is slightly higher. That said games for PC are often much, much cheaper. Hell I've got 50 games for my Xbox 360 and 500 games on my Steam library. Guess which collection cost more?

      • +1

Not to fuel the pointless console war but when people start arguing about game prices they never consider the resale value.

      • Upfront cost can certainly be lower, you just need to buy the right parts.

    • +1

      not here please…

Wow, the phone number for the PS2 and PSP hotline. When was the last time DSE updated their machines?

  • goddammit bought my bundle from JB this morning :(

    • I had this bundle preordered from the Miranda JB store but couldn't get there until Thursday and didn't want to wait so managed to get the second last bundle from Galleries JB only to get back from lunch and see that DSE had it for $1 cheaper! :( indeed!

  • Does the destiny console box concluding

  • Hey peeps,

I was just in at DSE in the Sydney CBD on George Street by the QVB.
I managed to get this deal even though its not listed anywhere, I asked the teller to search for it using the product code and she found it, although a little surprised after showing the image of the recipe the OP attached, because this is obviously cheaper and has an extra game compared to the normal destiny bundle.

I confirmed 418 in stock at the warehouse in NSW, paid a $51.80 deposit (which is refundable) with expected delivery

    Gewd Job!

  • Anybody able to get this deal in VIC? Went to Emporium Dick Smith and apparently they're saying only one guy got that deal and that was it. lol.

    • again quote them this code YG10606TLOU to punch in the system.

  • +1

Listed on their website now with free shipping.. http://www.dicksmith.com.au/catalog/product/view/id/18443/s/…

      Updated the original OP. Cheers.

    • Thanks for the update! Just ordered one online.

  • Just called my local store here in Bendigo, VIC. Was advised all sold out and not taking any more orders for that bundle.
Seemed an odd response as it's still active on their website.

  • I will wait until they have a sale or discount code :)

  • has anyone who put a deposit down ordered this in been notified their order is ready for pickup yet?

They said it would be available this week but were kinda vague
