EDIT: The code works fine. To those negativing the deal, please actually click through to the end of the checkout. The price displayed does not change after you apply the coupon, however once you click "Proceed to checkout" the total will show as $5.

Also, if anyone is getting an "undefined" error at the end of checkout - don't worry. You're order probably still went through, so go and check your email for a confirmation. Do not resubmit or refresh the page, otherwise you may be charged twice.

    Somehow my 16:20 paid mobile site order went through as click n collect! Paid by Woolies Gift Card, which from past experience was refunded after 3 months with a similar value physical DS gift card. So might have just achieved a $5 gift card swap :-(

    Guess I wasn't the only one who got charged twice by paypal but only received 1 Order acknowledgement.
    The first one kept erroring me then redirected back to cart and then had to check out again and charged me a 2nd time on paypal..

      Yea, the website is so slowwww on my mobile with Vodafone Network, and coming up with errors page and I need to keep refresh to get to the last page.

      I paid the first time and went to an error page, go back and pay again successfully… got charged twice but received 2 order acknowledgement.

    Just got emails that all my orders have been cancelled due to unverified credit card payment (BS!). Used same CC earlier that day on dse and it worked fine then. Going to call and abuse.

        Yes I tried using paypal last night and it kept giving errors, taking me back to the DSE site and having to do my order all over again. I just called them, they are now sending me an email to do direct deposit.

    If you have any of these older digital gift cards it would be worthwhile to check they haven't been camcelled. I purchased some from this deal last year https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/128782 and a few were cancelled by head office for no reason at all. and it's a pain in the backside getting DS to reissue new cards for the ones that had been cancelled.

      Web front end capabilities should reflect what's possible in the back end system. I wonder just how much on the site is exposed? Could you insert your own prices on things? You shouldn't control site behaviour through changes to the front end. not very robust.

    After i put in an ACCC complaint for payment issues and promised card purchases I just received three phone calls from DSE saying they are out of stock. A gift card, out of stock. I don't think Ive heard such lies.

    i'm putting it down to the heavy traffic they had when the deal was on and the problems the webpage was having…
    i managed to get 11 of mine linked to my account and ordered an extra 4 which i wasnt able to link.
    so far i have received 14 confirmation emails (not 15)
    also received 10 gift cards + shipping notification + invoice by email today.

    hopefully these 10 came first because they were easy for their system to identify due to being linked to my account. i guess the other 5 might take longer. i'll give them their quoted delivery time of 3-5 days before i start worrying.

    Still have not received any confirmation emails, only an acknowledgement email for my first order, nothing about my 2nd order, even though I've been deducted 2x $5 from my paypal.

    Guess I'll have to call up and complain when I'm not busy in the next few days and sort this out, aghhhhh, more trouble than it's worth.

          I ordered one GC from the 1 Oct deal. But the webpage didn't load at the end of the transaction. I got charged by paypal, but never received DSE order confirmation. Contacted them 3 times and finally got a reply from their Facebook, they said they can't find my order and suggested me contact paypal to arrange a refund. I opened a dispute on paypal yesterday. Not sure if I should wait or escalate it to a claim now.

          Received both DSE order confirmations & PP receipts on the day I bought them (29th @~3:15pm). Also, today received both a order processed & eGC emails (pdf attached). So you should be getting 3-4 per order.

          Suggest you wait a little longer as they were flooded with orders & are presumably processing them as we speak/type.

      Just to update, for some reason the coupon showed up in my inbox today. It was sent the same time as my original invoice but for some reason didn't show up till I deleted some old mail. To reiterate, it was there all along and sent at the same time as the original invoice. I was using yahoo mail, which is shithouse so if you guys got an original invoice, you may have got it delivered but for some reason it's hidden. I don't know how or why but that's what happened in my case.
