This popped up on my Amex card. Pls note its an AMEX issued card.

EDIT2 I can confirm that both codes and the AMEX $20 discount are stackable "FRIENDS" gets you 15% off and "SAVETEN14" gets you $10 off a purchase >$100 .     As much as I hate Woolies (& Coles) a good offer…. Combine it with some of their better than half price specials and its nearly as good as the five finger discount (Not that I am encouraging that!)

      These offers are designed to entice you to use your card. So naturally using it on your own accord will decrease the amount of offers. It pays to have more than one Amex card.

    How can I check these offers with a bank issued card?
    I used to have Qantas discovery card but cancelled it a while ago. I log in same online account on Amex website, try to register new bank issued Amex card but get error "We are unable to register your card"

    I am very confused with the various offers! Can someone please help.

    AMEX spend $100, get $20 Credit

    Woolies "Family & Friend " spend $100 and get 15% off (Oct 3 -6 )

    Woolies Every Day Reward offer - spend $50 get $10 off (Oct 2 - 8) In store only

    Please help, my maths is not good. If I want to use all offers at once, how much should I spend in one order?

    I don't know whether this is a tip as such but it may be of use to someone:

    Download the Amex app for the iPhone here:

    Input your Amex card details into the app

    Whenever there is a deal, rather than wondering whether your card is eligible or not simply open the app and scroll down slightly - all deals show up here and you can 'save' them to your card

    IMPORTANT - save EVERY offer. Why? For some weird reason it won't show up NEW deals until you save (and thereby 'clear') OLD deals. I didn't see some of the best deals recently because I didn't realize you had to do this.

      You don't need to save every offer. Rather than scrolling down on the home screen of the app, press the button on the top right which slides the menu in, then choose "offers" to see all that are available.

    just looking at first online order ever at Woolies for this promo and amazed by the inflated online prices compared to normal instore prices.
    eg online macro organic eggs 6 pack $5.36….local store $3.99
    SanPellegrino Water online $3.39…instore $3.09
    Example after example.
    Cannot believe how people would be sucked in to these massive price differences.
    Be very selective on what you purchase.

      IanC…thats old news buddy. Most online prices are 7-9% higher than instore, but all catalogue specials ie: ALL HALF PRICE OFFERS are available online at the catalogue price

    I think we should use the 15% off code First, then the $10 off code to maximised the discount. We will better off almost $2.
    $130 -> 130(1-15%)= 110.5 -> 110.5-10=100.5, rather than: $130 -> 130-10= 120 -> 120(1-15%)= 102

    You get bigger discount if you use the % discount on the bigger amount.
